Hotel Des Arts Paris Montmartre
10/10 Excellent
"The most delightful staff . My husband did the white glove test and he was so impressed with the clean results.
This little hotel is a very short distance to the charming town and plenty cafes and shopping. Throughly enjoyed our stay!"
"Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Had convenient laundry room. Grocery store near by. Pharmacy near by. Great restaurants near by. We had a great experience."
"At first I was nervous given some of the lower rated reviews. However, we received nothing less than hospitable and excellent service. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times of the day. The hotel room was clean and simple. The bathrooms are smaller in France, but that’s just how it is. We loved being a little more outside of the tourist area because we were able to experience more of the culture and language. However, they all speak very good English and communication was not difficult at all. There were tourists everywhere as well as locals so it felt safe. There are SOO MANY restaurants, Bars, Bakeries and shopping areas immediately near the hotel. Had we known how close things really were, we wouldn’t have bothered to use Uber as much as we did. But being new in the area we were nervous at first so of course we used uber everywhere until our last few days. We stayed 8 nights and there was so much to do! The breakfast they offer is good and fulfilling. But if you’re still hungry for more, take a walk outside and take your pick of all of the many restaurants in the area. I would recommend this hotel! "The staff were so accommodating. Very helpful and polite.
Our room was very clean albeit small, however we had the most amazing view of the eiffel tower, the bathroom was lovely and modern , offering shower gel shampoo body lotion, and a fab rain over head shower plus a hand shower, a decent hair dryer too.. breakfast was great offering croissants pastries meats etc .the hotel was a 2 minute walk to the metro station... (from gard de nord to chapelle change to blanche .. moulin rouge theatre you'll see as soon as you leave the metro.. i felt very safe in the area thousands of people about, ill definitely use chat noir again and highly recommend this quaint hotel..thank you for a nice stay...."
"Great property with friendly and accommodating staff. The only drawback if you have problems with stairs or are claustrophobic is the very tiny elevator. I chose the stairs every time. Also, if you are sharing a room with someone who you would prefer to not see you nude, then find a different room or hotel. While the W/C is private, the shower was not. I would recommend.
