Very new. Everything is clean and functional. The front desk staff are exceptional. The chair and water/coffee/tea were not in my room when I checked in.
Bothersome noise -- neighbors downstairs moving furniture and vacuuming at 5:30 am. Then construction noise at 10am. Then loud annoying disco music from the café directly below my room. The hotel would not allow me to move, even though it seemed half the rooms were unoccupied.
The breakfast staff varied. The first day the fellow was so slow, inattentive, and unfriendly. The food was not refreshed for over 30 minutes, with half the items missing. The second morning thing were OK, but still slow. Finally, the third morning the woman handling the breakfast was on top of things. She diligently replenished items that were low and had a pleasant happy attitude.
The Hotel reminded me of Proverbs 11:22 "Like a gold ring in a pig's snout is a beautiful woman who shows no discretion." The Hotel is beautiful in that it's new, clean, and maintained, but the noise, unwillingness to allow a room change, and mediocre breakfast staff are big problems.
