Very clean and affordable hotel. We needed a hotel for a quick trip The room is very small but comfortable. Shower is arubian warm. Too bad there isnt an outlet in bathroom to blow dry hair. Coffee in the morning at neighbor cafe was delicious

I'm writing this letter in regards to my last visit to Victoria city hotel, aruba. When my wife and I arrived we met Jose who was professional, courteous and ready to assist in our stay which 3/8/25 - 3/13/25. Jose checked us in and got us to our newly redecorated room which we were pleasantly surprised to see. It was modern, clean and ready for Us. This boutique hotel was just what that doctor ordered for us. We had our concerns trying a new place because you how some hotels take the best pictures of their rooms and when the customer gets there its a dump. Not this place it's diamond in the rough and they are making more improvements. Special thanks to Jose and Hanna who made our stay pleasurable and comfortable. We will be recommending to our friends and definitely retuning.

I absolutely enjoyed staying at Victoria City Hotel! I was skeptical at first because I was not sure if I would be able to trust my items in the room since there’s no safe box but the receptionist promised to not worry about anything and I eventually learned to trust the staff; I was stressed free! Very professional and trusting staff members, cleanliness in the property was very consistent, comfortable and cozy hotel with a beautiful rooftop to relax and enjoy the sunrise or sunset. Also a restaurant connected to the hotel if ever feel like to dine in instead, the bartender and cashier David has been a great person to talk to. It was my first trip to Aruba and I have never felt safer, I would definitely come back here again.

When my friend and I arrived at the hotel, it looked completely different in person, aside from the flamingo painting in the room. The bed was far too small for two people, and to make matters worse, it ended up breaking. The customer service was hit-or-miss; sometimes helpful, other times not. When I asked the receptionist for assistance with carnival information, she could only answer some of my questions and often told me to look it up myself. There were no spa or pool facilities, which was shocking; how can a vacation hotel lack basic amenities? The only highlight was the housekeeping service; the staff member who cleaned our room did a great job. Breakfast ended way too early, which was disappointing. Overall, while the hotel may be affordable, it’s not worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The was some construction noise going on at nite, we heard they were renovating a lot of the rooms there. The back parking lot was gravel and sand but it was lit up good enough to see at nite. We had a great time the whole time there even with a few minor things. The staff there was great and very helpful in every way and we really enjoyed seeing all the improvements in old Oranjestad as well as the roundabouts all over the island which relly makes getting around easy and keeps the traffic flowing good, no traffic jams or traffic lights at all, loved that lol. Cant wait to gwt back over there in a few years to see how much more is done with refurbishing and renovations have been done trying to help out the Aruba peoples quality of life with jobs and revenue. Talked to many locals while we were there and everyone is so nice, just good people everywhere we went.
