We did not have breakfast. Attended a wedding. The room was clean and nice visually and the casino was fun and the servers were great.

We have stayed at the MGM Springfield several times when we’ve been in the area. Although we rarely gamble we enjoy the quality of the hotel, comfort of the rooms and quality of the restaurants and convenience of the location.

Why is the hotel entrance a secret?
Let's start with there is no valet parking and go down hill from there. Finding the hotel entrance to check in must be a secret because there is no signage at all. I guess everyone likes to park 4 blocks away and schlep their luggage across the entire garage and length of the casino in hopes of finding the check in desk. We left to go out for the day at 9am and put the service light on. Returned at 4pm and the room had not been cleaned. There were 5 housekeeping carts within 20 feet of our door but apparently it was more important to clean vacant rooms than occupied ones. When we went to the front desk to ask for help they were friendly but useless and we waited an hour for them to get the room cleaned. When I asked for some compensation they offered a $50 dining credit. Of course half the restaurants were closed and the ones that were open were not restaurants but self service kiosks. The room was beautiful but totally lacking in function. No drawers. No refrigerator. Pretty lights but not easily accessible switches and no hand held shower so you have to get your head soaked like it or not. The spa was closed indefinitely. We were told to seek compensation from Hotels.com because we didn't book directly with the hotel.
