The problem of this hôtel is the noise of the road to the bridge situated just near the room. We can sleep only from midnight to 4 Oclock AM otherwise the noise is terrible. I choose a room with view to the port which was not a good choice. We have not been informed about the noise prior to choose the room.

What a wonderful stay at SpringHill Suites Punta Gorda Harborside. Great location, great free parking, or valet parking for those who choose. Clean rooms (spotless, might I add) and well-maintained overall. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful, especially Debbi at the front desk and Megan at the bar. Debbi and Megan made our stay a very enjoyable one and I would stay again if I'm in the area because of them!!

Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Very close to PGD airport with a super easy drive. The self parking was free and very safe, there was a valet sitting right in front of the parking lot most of the night. The staff were friendly and Liz gave me a free extra 30 minute late check out since my flight was at a weird time. Comfortable beds, a good sized room, an acutal walk in closet. Also one of the best hotel showers, the water pressure amazing, the toiletries very nice, and the shower was actually clean.... they seem to understand how bleach works here unlike the other large hotel brand that always has shower cleaning problems. Coffee and tea were available late at night. Breakfast was just a typical hotel self serve but it was easy and had a very plentiful and nice selection of items. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great hotel with lots of walkable dining and shopping nearby. Nice pool, gym, breakfast, and evening bar. The parking was terrible, however. You had to get a spot by early evening, or try to find a spot on the street or use the valet. The valet used the same parking lot, so several spots that could have been used by guests were roped off and you were charged $10 for someone to park your car 30’ away.

We were happy with the hotel and staff. It was clean, comfortable and convenient. Our only complaint was the lack of parking spaces for hotel guests. We had to walk across the field and park on Taylor Street on 3 of the 4 nights we were there. We were concerned about the safety and security of parking our vehicle that far from the hotel. Thankfully, we are healthy senior citizens and are able to handle the walk. Other than the parking situation we would highly recommend this hotel.

My sister stayed around Christmas and it was a perfect spot for the money. The staff were friendly and they cleaned constantly, which we loved. The kitchen team were friendly and made sure breakfast was always fresh and welcoming looking. Our room was great, except figuring out the shower was a little nerving. The bathroom and closet were spacious.
