I wasn't sure about booking a hotel which was not a well known brand. This place was a pleasant suprise! Quiet comfortable and well mantained. The staff went to the max to insure we were happy. But shhhh don't tell others about it (lol).

I come to st.Augustine every few years for my birthday with my husband. We stayed at the hotel when it was going under new management and construction. When I came this second time around it was very cool to see the final touches. The customer service is amazing as the first time I visited. My room was clean and welcoming. It’s close to local restaurants and attractions. I have definitely found my traditional stay on my birthday with this hotel.

Expensive for what it was. Told me when we checked in they were overbooked for a King room so we got downgraded with no refund offer but instead a breakfast voucher. The entrance to our room was literally in the main lobby. Hotel was noisy, people above us were stomping around all night. Charged me $4 for a “market” purchase when I didn’t buy anything. Wouldn’t stay again, wouldn’t recommend.

The room was comfortable and clean, felt bad for the staff as they seemed to have to do everything, check in, bartend, etc. was impressed that they called me to let me know I had left an item behind.
