Unacceptable Behavior at DoubleTree Hilton Skopje
Dear Hotels.com,
I recently stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Skopje and unfortunately had a very negative experience at check-in. While trying to communicate in English, there was a small misunderstanding. Instead of assisting me professionally, the receptionist directly told me: “your English is very bad.”
This was an extremely rude, unprofessional, and humiliating remark. As a paying guest, I expect respect and hospitality—not to be insulted or mocked for my language skills. I felt belittled in front of other guests, which is completely unacceptable.
I am not looking for a simple apology. I expect concrete action from the hotel’s management regarding this incident. Allowing staff to treat guests in this manner seriously damages the Hilton brand and undermines the trust of customers booking through Hotels.com.
I request that Hotels.com formally address this with the property and provide me with a clear explanation of how this situation will be resolved.
