Checking in was a breeze. Really friendly front office. Key box system worked well. Arrived after hours and left early. Rooms are very nice. Well kept for age of property. Bathrooms are slightly vintage but in tidy and clean condition. Added to experience.

Ok for a quick stay

This hotel was sufficient for our quick stay - only one night, arriving late and leaving early, and close to the airport. It was cheap and all we needed. However, if we were staying any longer I would go somewhere else. It's very old and badly in need of renovation, especially the bathroom. The outside light above the door made the room bright (the curtains didn't block much) and there are few facilities in the room (tea and coffee only). There is a communal kitchen but the microwave was broken.

The overall standard of our room was well below except able. Dirty chairs, TV didnt work. Toilet to close to wall, Access to shower in bath dangerous, no handrail. Uncomfortable bed. Wont be in a hurry to return, way over priced for this in its current state.

Late check in – was quick and easy. A note on the reception front door was clear; the bar staff was very nice and hospitable. The bar/restaurant next door was perfect with great food for us 8 adults after a long drive. Thank you for the complimentary bottle of water. The room, carpet, curtain and sheets were clean though the property has obviously aged. The bed and pillows were quite comfy. There was no sign to hang outside the door “do not disturb”. The complimentary biscuits were replenished and our towels were replaced even when we were only there less than 20hrs from checking in. Parking was uncovered, not gated – that’s ok. Our van was parked right outside or door. Key box for the early check out was easy and visible. Cons: hot water/shower: off and on limited wifi: poor

Staff very friendly and helpful I had an issue with the shower so was changed to another unit without any fuss which I appreciated Location was good for me but generally the whole complex is tired However it suited my needs and I was grateful
