Loved the simpleness of the saloon with bedrooms availble above. Great easy location. Great staff. Good nights sleep.

Nice little cabin in a less populated area outside of Anchorage. Very rustic little cabin that checks off the bare necessities. Provides what I would see as a very Alaskan experience. I would definitely stay there again.

The property was perfect for our stay overnight. Sarah and Denise were so hospitable; my husband and I felt extremely welcomed. Highly recommend!

It’s a good overnight stay. The location is great, small bedroom but enough if you are only staying for one night or two. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We I’ll stay here again.

8/10 Good

Minimalist room in an old rustic building that provided a clean comfortable place to stay for one night. Very quiet even with the saloon below. We had a delicious hamburger in the saloon. Laid back and friendly staff! Very good choice if you don’t need a tv and are looking for a reasonably priced place to sleep out of high priced Anchorage and Girdwood. We would stay there again!
Betty, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

It's a room just above the bar. Small but comfortable.has a microwave but no fridge and NO TV it fits our needs as we were just using the room for a place to sleep after a day of hiking and site seeing
Donna, 4-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Great property! Just opened for nightly rentals. Very nice authentic Alaska cabin feel. Has a stove and refrigerator so you can bring food with you. The Brown Bear Saloon is on-site and has some good food choices - especially liked the sweet potato fries. There are some breakfast options nearby as well. Beds were comfy and it was very quiet and clean. We really enjoyed our stay!

Kaleb, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

The rental itself is kind of like staying at a friend’s- the bed was comfortable and neat, there were some little quirks to the space, but felt completely safe and love off-the-beaten-path places like this. The owner and the bartender were AMAZING and so friendly downstairs, the hamburger tasted fresh off a backyard grill delicious, and oh my gosh you are RIGHT on Seward Highway.
Kelly, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

The area was peaceful and had beautiful views. The room had all the necessities - bed was ok, shower had hot water. The only complaint is that the other guests were so loud that we didn’t get much sleep. Their talking in other rooms and hallway, opening and closing doors, etc went right through the thin door and walls. If it wasn’t for this, I would stay again.
Jessica, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

This place is very basic. There wasn't a TV, and the smoke detector looked like it had been ripped out of the ceiling.
Cristine, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Grand view

It was wonderful. I will return again.
Eric, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

The room was clean and adequate for the night. It reminded me of a private room in a Hostel. You can't control the room temperature.
Lorrie, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

What’s not to like? If you love, rustic, and you love the outdoors, or a fabulous view then you’re gonna love this place! The staff is absolutely wonderful, and even with a bar downstairs it really wasn’t that loud. A nice little bike trail, get you across the road with ease so that you can stand on the edge of the ocean and breathe in the mountain view. Absolutely love this place definitely going back.
