I found the place spotless and the atmosphere was very calm -there were not many other guests staying but while I was there it was very quiet the interactions with the owner and the cleaning staff were very positive. The location is great and I loved my room. It was really colourable peaceful and nicely decorated. I was very glad I picked to stay here. Plenty of nice things nearby and way to get around from. The terrace is huge although I didn’t use as it was raining but this seems like a really nice base in Lisbon. -I would consider staying there again and is nice there is a well equipped kitchen also. Thank you for a nice stay😊

There was no ventilation in the room or bathroom, so it was very stuffy and humid, with some mould growing on the bathroom ceiling and wall. It would not get dry within 24h after a shower. The air conditioning was not working either, and the accommodation did not respond to any messages we sent about this. Moreover, it is poorly insulated, so you can hear everything from the hallway, common kitchen and neighbouring rooms, as well as the busy street. The mattresses are also very hard, so not very comfortable. On the positive, the remote checkin was smooth, the common kitchen was convenient (although it needs more cleaning) and the location is not bad.

Great location and comfortable stay

Location is perfect, minutes walk from buses and metro station. Easy to get food or drink nearby. Room has a juliet balcony, but window might let outdoors noise come in, even when fully closed. We stayed weekend, so I definitely felt parties happened outside on street. Room is clean, and shared kitchen is clean too, there is mid size fridge, microwave and convection oven. All utensils and plates. There are easy bags for coffee, sugar, tea etc, but no salt, pepper or oil if you need cook anything basic or add flavour. Overall good, except noise, no lobby person or in person greeting, just an email from owner for all entry codes and wifi password.

Nous avons bien aimé notre séjour à cet hôtel. Il est situé à quelques pas d’un métro et d’arrêts d’autobus et de tramway. C’est très facile de se rendre partout pour découvrir la ville. Il y a aussi tout ce qu’il faut aux alentours : pharmacie, pastelaria, café, dépanneur… Il n’y a pas de réception, mais le ménage est fait quotidiennement et c’est très propre. La petite cuisinette commune et la terrasse ont été bien appréciées. C’est parfois un peu bruyant quand des gens marchent ou parlent dans le corridor ou tentent de débarrer leur porte.

I had a pleasant time at the hotel. I traveled solo and stayed for 6 nights while visiting friends and attending a festival. I’ve stayed in this neighborhood twice before and it’s filled with restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and a grocery store a block away. Many parks are nearby. The hotel does not have a lobby or room service, but the self check in was very easy. There are storage lockers to hold your luggage if you arrive early or leave late. A main kitchen area was shared with other rooms that had a small refrigerator, microwave, and utensils. The rooms and common areas were cleaned daily. And I found my room clean and spacious, with a desk/chair and additional lounging chair. I would stay again.

Principe Real Guesthouse Stay Review

Very nice and spacious room. Only thing is maybe they can give more quantity of soap and shampoo. Otherwise awesome property and stay! I would say maybe double check the locks on the very outside door(the street entrance), me and my friend found it was fairly easy to open even without using the room code so just make sure thats a little more secure. Thanks!

Great property if you are in your 20s and visiting. Super clean, in the middle of everything from bars to restaurants and shops, steps from Rato station on the yellow line and in front of the tram. Limited contact which made it super easy checking in.

チェックインの15時前にも、チェックアウト後にも、中の大きなロッカーに、荷物を預けられることを後から知り、そのために大変苦労しました。荷物チェックインできない玄関と中の入り口、部屋のパスワードキーが送られてきていたのを見落としていたのが原因ですが、こうした民泊的なチェックインに慣れていないと、戸惑うことも多いと思います。部屋に窓がないのが不満だったのですが、大きな扉を開けると、広いテラスにでられる部屋でした。オーナーが迎えてくれる時間にチェックインできると、より快適な滞在になると思います

Lo que más nos gustó, es la ubicación, muy cerca, caminando del metro ratio y varias paradas de autobús, restaurantes, muy agradables cerca, como el restaurant Alba, y pastelería 1800 delicioso pastel de nata, la cama es cómoda, todo muy limpio, tiene una cocina compartida con todo lo necesario. Lo malo es que no hay calefacción Central, por lo tanto, hace muchísimo frío, pedimos una cobija y nos dijeron que no había, pero nos prestaron un calefactor, no era suficiente, tuvimos que usar dos calefactores, con eso se quedó agradable, pero lo más desagradable es el servicio de la recamarera, quien cada mañana Nos quitaba el calefactor, llegaba a tocar la puerta y nos despertaba, hacia los demás cuartos, hablando por teléfono y se oyen sus conversaciones y nos despertaba, y el último día fue a tocar diciendo que la salida era a las 11 de la mañana, le mostramos nuestra reservación por Expedia, que vencía a las 12 del día, y dijo que no era verdad, y se quedó parado en la puerta, y ahí estuvo esperando que nos fuéramos, una pésima actitud.

We Felt Like Princes at Principe Real!

Excellent stay at Principe Real Guest House. A wonderful room, very well kept, elegantly decorated, ideally located near the Rato subway station and close to Lisboa's historical downtown. The place is very clean (and smells very good), includes a communal kitchen, and even lockers for late departures. Our room was beautiful and spacious. The decoration combines minimalistic modernism with colonial touches. The bathroom was lovely as well. We loved it, and will definitley come back!

Très apprécié. Le Guest house est rénové et propre et à proximité des transport en commun. Pâtisserie et resto à quelques pas. L’unique point un peu négatif est l’état du tapis des escaliers d’accès au Guest house qui ne donne pas une bonne image à l’établissement. J’y retournerais sans hésiter.
