It is just an OK hotel, very basic and old

Great stay at a great price

Checkin was fine, receptionist made sure we'd keyed in our car reg to their parking iPad to avoid a penalty charge. Room 20 was a good size, recently renovated, a bit similar to a Premier - so it's pretty good. The only small niggle was the shower didn't have much pressure, but still a 5 star stay. Bar next door is friendly and inexpensive, breakfast was really good. All in all great value for money.

Our stay was good, room and bathroom were spotless. Breakfast was okay but buffet basic. Cooked breakfast was okay but sausages were not good think they were cheap but on the whole it was fine.

Edinburgh tattoo

The hotel was very convenient for us and public transport to Edinburgh was good
Ian, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

OK for a night, but expensive for what you get.

Basic hotel, in what seemed to be a housing estate. Food was mediocre at best, breakfast was basic - I didnt get an opportunity to try a cooked one. Room was basically clean, but a lot of hair on the carpet, bathroom wasnt bad. Free overnight parking was a bonus.
2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Everything was good except the shower. It was barely warm and very little water came through.

Good place to stay when catching a plane

This room was perfect for a one night stay prior to flying home. It was very clean. The room was quite small but it worked for us!
Lis, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Be sure to request rooms on an upper floor and at the end of the hall. Our room was on the main floor, at the entrance to the hallway. There was a set of fire doors that banged all morning as guests got up early and left, along with the noise of guests talking right outside of our room as they walked out of the hotel. We could not sleep at all from very early in the morning, starting at 5:30 am.
Gina, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Area seemed a bit run down, the staff was great
Julie, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Value for money.

The room was pretty small but had everything you'd want in it. Bed was comfortable. The wifi worked as it was meant to. The breakfast was included in the cost and you had a choice of continental or a proper cooked one. There was a bus stop right out front if needed that had a lot of buses using it. Plenty of car spaces too.
