Great centrally located hotel

Good hotel - walkable in the town center - no Aircon and it gets hot in the summer. Nice places to eat nearby. Quaint and lovely.

Staff really nice but can be difficult to get their attention. Mould on my room ceiling with no window that would stay open on a hot week with someone that has asthma. Also couldn’t fit in the shower

Acceptable stay. friendly staff. Room basic but fine. Corridors tired. Fit for our needs. will stay again for family get together. limited food for meals, did not have breakfast which was offered.

Came for a family funeral, but have stayed here before, it’s convenient for town centre shopping. Parking is a little frustrating as you have to park in Asda car park, so depending on what time you check in it can be a little busy, but really nice rooms, and breakfast was good.

It’s Okay !

Friendly front of house… but she was front of house, waitress’, bar maid.. etc etc so service was slow… to the point I left and went elsewhere for food and drinks Hotel it’s self is a little tired and rooms are not sound proof !!!

We will be back!

We stay in Rugby a couple of times a year and have always used the Travel Lodge. I am so glad that I decided to switch things up. This was probably THE most comfortable bed I have ever stayed in. Staff were lovely and the room suited our needs. Rooms are clean, tidy and look quite new however, as others have mentioned, they can get quite warm, so consider this if you're someone thats gets hot at night anyway. The hallways/carpet could use modernising to improve the overall look, but this is just cosmetic. We will defintely be back here again. Xx

Nightmare !

Terrible experience.. Went for dinner same person doing everything inc cooking dinner Dinner was a joke. Not the staffs fault she was lefy to do everything it was embarrassing for her. Came to me for a lighter to light cooker! The Electric went in he night, I had to shower and make-up in the dark could not use my hair appliance so had to go to a very important meeting disheveled, No, coffee or hot drink could have gone to the local coffee shop and taken away, the rest of the town all had electric, it was in the center of the town there was a costa 3 mins walk away.. No formal apology NOTHING! Unbelievable !

Newly refurbed, central location, good service

Recently refurbished, but not complete ... smart TVs not yet connected properly, for example. Done up to a nice standard, but a few minor snagging and design issues. There was quite a bit of street noise outside my room, but it was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and attentive.
