Location was really good, close to the city centre and U-bahn to get around Vienna. However it was noisy during the nights. Service was good, breakfast was okand it was nice to get speciality coffees at breakfast. Another downside was the shower in the room, where humidity was an issue and there was a funky smell from the sewer.

Nice and functional

The hotel was clean and the lobby and bar area are nicely decorated. The self check-in process is easy and convenient. We stayed in the “nest” room and it is small but worked for one night. It is an easy walk to main attractions and a subway but the area right around the hotel is very quiet at night with not much going on.

Trendy, great location, good breakfast, great staff, they had an alarm drill so elevator stopped working. Had to use the emergency stairs WITH LUGGAGE on the way out.

That’s a no for me

The location felt a bit dodgy upon arrival, but it’s about a block from a nice area. Just a funky pocket. The lobby was lovely, but the rooms are not good. There were stains on the curtains, there was what appeared to be rot on the floor where the shower meets the flooring, the gaps in the toilet area allow for zero privacy. I would not recommend or stay again.

The Ruby Lissi Hotel was quiet and well situated very close to a metro stop, as well as an airport bus route (which was a great deal!). It was also walkable to the cathedral square and in a cozy, quiet neighborhood. The staff was very helpful. We did not have any meals there so I can't speak to the restaurant.

I recently stayed at Rubi Lissi and found it to be a beautiful hotel with a fantastic location. The decor and ambiance are truly lovely, making it a great place to unwind. However, I encountered a significant issue during my stay. Our room, located on the same level as the reception, was quite noisy due to the sounds from the bar and lobby. Unfortunately, this disturbance continued late into the night, making it difficult for us to get a good night's sleep on both nights of our stay. It's such a shame because the hotel itself is wonderful, but the noise issue really detracted from our experience. I hope they can address this in the future, as it would make a big difference for guests looking for a peaceful retreat.

I like a quirky boutique hotel but this place has a few downsides. Tiny desk space in rooms, cluttered with a lamp & speaker which you have to put in floor to work. Breakfast a bit hit & miss with drinks, cutlery etc. Limited news channels - would benefit from a few international options. Room temperature controls a bit pointless but the window dies open. Hotel & design is good, just some basics need attention.
