Close to Shinagawa Station

Clean, comfortable bed and ample room for a few luggage. Bathroom has shower and bathtub. Quiet. Free breakfast included at Royal Host next door. Just a few minutes walk to Shinagawa Station and close to a 7-11.

Other reviews mentioned how great it was to be so close to the train station, but I didn’t find it enjoyable. Very noisy and high street traffic— walking and cars. Lots of construction in the area. Front desk was kind, but we didn’t always understand each other. Love the amenities. Room was clean. Shower was clean, but I was unsure how to use it. There was no a/c- the fan doesn’t blow, just moves air in the room. We don’t suffer, just wanted it a little cooler, since windows were shut.

I would not stay here. Extremely hard and uncomfortable mattress. Hard as a rock. Pillow was also very hard. Didn’t sleep all night. Woke up with horrible low back pain into the legs. Made my plane ride back to the states very miserable. I could barely stand it. Room was also extremely small. Shower was nice. That’s it. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.
