Great place for a short stay
Really nice place, but we were visiting in the winter so the reception was not there and we had to call for service (which was absolutely fine, but something to note if you do not have international roaming) and the room was very cold.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, ich schreibe Ihnen weil ich mich beschweren möchte über das Zimmer das ich gebucht habe. Das Zimmer das ich gebucht habe war an den Wänden verschimmelt und man konnte das sehr stark riechen und das Zimmer befand sich im Keller des Hotels. Das Hotel hat keine Rezeption und an der Tür der Abstellkammer war eine (versteckte) Notiz mit Telefonnummern für etwaige Auskünfte und eine zweite Notiz mit unserer Zimmernummer. Beide Notizen befanden sich weit außerhalb unseres Zimmers. Nach langem Suchen habe ich das Zimmer im Keller gefunden. Als ich mit dem Hotelbesitzer gesprochen habe, sagte er mir dass dies durch den Regen passiert ist, denn diesen Winter war der Regen angeblich sehr stark ausgefallen, aber er konnte mir kein besseres Zimmer geben. Ich habe mir alle anderen Zimmer angeschaut, da das Hotel völlig leer und alle Zimmer Türen geöffnet waren, alle waren verschimmelt bis auf das Zimmer Nummer neun. Ich habe ihn gefragt ob ich das Zimmer Nummer 9 bekommen kann anstelle des Zimmers Nummer 11, welches uns zugewiesen wurde, er teilte mir mit dass ich das Zimmer Nummer 9 mit einem Aufpreis von 20 € pro Nacht bekommen kann. Ich habe letztendlich ein anderes Hotel in Fira gebucht. Durch das ganze hin und her habe ich einen ganzen Tag verloren und bin erschöpft und hungrig zum anderen Hotel angekommen. Ich habe Fotos von den Wänden gemacht und die Buchungsbestätigung des neuen Hotels liegt bei. Außerdem habe ich ein Video aufgenommen,

La prochaine fois
Je ne peux pas dire puisque mon avion pour Santorini n'a pas pu atterir à cause du vent...le seul souci est que je n'ai pas pu prévenir l'hôtel car je ne parle pas bien anglais et par téléphone cela aurait été compliqué à expliquer, mais je n'ai trouvé aucun lien pour les contacter par message ! J'espère avoir l'occasion une prochaine fois de le tester.

Nice hotel but hard to find it. You need to find Romani Rent Car and then tell they where is Perissa El Mar Rooms. There is no reception in El Mar Rooms but there is a telephone number to contact the hotel manager.

The staff may not always be available, so it's hard to get some info from them. And that you have to call them first for any issue. For someone who doesn't live in the country may be difficult to get a hold of them.

Avoid this place at all costs
I had a horrible experience with this hotel. When we arrived they told us that our room was not ready and that we would be staying somewhere else for tonight and to "come back tomorrow" when our room was ready. They put us in a car and dropped us off on the side of the road of a place a mile away from the location we desired. They also tried to charge us 300 EURO for enquiring about the possibility of an early check in and then told Expedia that we were "demanding one". When we finally arrived at the booking the next day the accommodations were awful and not as described. Terrible experience and do not recommend even to Donald Trump.

alloggio e direzione deludente
Caratteristiche descritte sul web non corrispondenti a quel che abbiamo trovato in Santorini: servizio navetta aeroporto inesistente, wi fi solo nello spazio bar piscina e non negli alloggi, aria condizionata non funzionante. La struttura, forse un tempo curata, ora risulta trascurata e gestita senza competenza nell'esercizio di attività di accoglienza. L'ubicazione è su una strada di passaggio, molto rumorosa, nelle vicinanze c'è un recinto con cavalli con le relative conseguenze. Il rumore dei veicoli è costante, anche per tutta la notte. Nella struttura su richiesta e a pagamento viene offerta la colazione...misera e stantia. L'unico aspetto a favore della struttura è la piscina.
