Lovely hotel with excellent staff, they couldn't do enough to help us. Comfortable room with good facilities. The only little niggle was the outside security light kept coming on which made the room very bright when trying to sleep.

Wonderful property! Great location! And the people working there were amazing. So sweet, thoughtful, welcoming and helpful. They were all so nice. Tom was great at our arrival, and Lily is the sweetest person ever! Royal is lucky to have her! Highly recommend Royal Hotel and Bar! So fun to have the pub right there!

Great location, cosy & clean accommodation

The hotel is in a great location in the centre of Lancaster. The staff are friendly and helpful. We were given a tour if the accomodation on arrival and shown to our room. Although breakfast is not included, there is complimentary fruit, cereal and porridge available. The room and bathroom are spotlessly clean and cosy. £80 well spent.

Comfortable and clean. It does however seem very expensive (£150 per night) and did not include the little touches of luxury which might be expected for this type of luxury price.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. It had a cracked ceiling, traffic noise all night so not had a good night sleep. Noise from other room above could be heard. Bathroom temperature very different to the room as it was quite cold. Parking is a pain as it’s on a first come first serve basis. I had to park far away. Good location but will no good for me.

A lovely place to stay in a perfect location. Staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival. Our room was a great size and immaculately clean. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay that’s central to everything to do in Lancaster, this is ideal.
