The front desk agent was very nice and pleasant. However I was told that the the Credit card machine wasn’t working. And when I went to check out there was no front desk agent available. When I booked the room on Expedia I booked it as an all exclusive hotel but this place is no an all inclusive. This place is way too expensive and not worth half of the price they charge. The main bed was very cheep and uncomfortable.

Misleading listing. Not what’s advertised. The room did not match the pictures. These are not true suites but rather small apartments. The reception area is different from what’s shown online, and there is only one restaurant (no bar or coffee bar as advertised). The hotel is NOT directly connected to the pool area. It appears that a common access area that connected the reception to the beach/pool was removed to make more rooms. To reach the beach or pool, you have to exit the building and go around the hotel. There was construction all throughout the hotel. The elevator was squeaking a lot and it marked the wrong floors. Pool was murky. The towels are literally counted, we asked for more and they said we had to switch the dirty one for a clean one. On weekends the place is packed of people who are not staying at the hotel. We got a “deluxe suite” but the only thing they took into account was the sea view. The kitchen was actually just a 2-stove burner that you use for camping and a microwave. No pans or pots. The checkout time said 12:00pm in Expedia and they knocked our door at 11:20am to kick us out. I showed them the check-out time on Expedia and the lady on reception said “Oh, we need to change that.” There are many vendors trying to sell you things at the beach. If you are a woman, you will get catcalled a lot. The only positive note is that staff was always nice and the food was good, as usual with dominican food.

You get what you pay for, so that's that. Below are my pros and cons: Pros: 1- Rooms facing the beachfront are much nicer. 2- Staff are friendly and accommodating. 3- You get breakfast included. 4- The breeze from the beach is nice. Cons: 1- The area surrounding the hotel is sketchy. 2- Prostitution is prevalent and it seems like hotel workers accommodate these operations with clients. Not my kind of vibe. 3- You cannot sit on the beach without being constantly harassed by hustlers pushing their products on you. 4- The beach was dirty. 5- No hot shower. 6- Everything seems like a hustle, even in the restaurant inside the hotel, so you have to make sure to ask as many questions as possible to know what you are paying for. 7- Also, depending on the room, you may get an ant infested room. I changed my room three times before getting a decent room. When I talked with the staff about the rooms, they seemed to be nonchalant about it, but at the same time, they were helpful. With all that, I made the best of the situation and tried to enjoy my time. If you are truly looking for a nice beach, all-inclusive, perhaps try Punta Cana. If you don't mind chatting with the locals, purchasing items on the beach, and paying a lower fee for a hotel, then book this hotel. It is close to the Santo Domingo airport, which is also a perk. I don't think I'll come back because I would rather pay more to get a more peaceful vacation, but as I said, you get what you pay for.

The hotel was not in a good area. The hotel felt safe, and the the beach also felt safe, but I didn't like that you had to walk along the street from the hotel to get to the restaurant, the pool and the beach, there is no direct access from inside the hotel to the beach or pool itself. The food at the restaurant was very good, we enjoyed it, and the area around the pool and beachside area was well maintained and comfortable. There was no gym, despite being told on the first day that it was just closed until 8am, on the second day I was finally told that there was no gym and that I would have to walk to a nearby gym, which was not safe to do so. The staff in general were helpful, and the rooms were large and comfortable and very clean. The view from the balcony was lovely. The AC in the room was perfect!
