6/10 Good

The location was great. Stairs to metro station left right in front of the front door. Easy to also walk to many attractions. Elevator was old and worked occationally. Many breakfast restaurants nearby. Airconditioning available. The room was a bit small and all noices from streets and restaurants were quite loud. Also noices from corridor and other rooms were loud. The manager was great and super helpful, thank you!

This is just 10 mins from Rome Termini and just outside the metro which can be taken to see the Colosseum. You can also walk there which is 15 mins. Lots of shops around and the view is a big park with green trees, which is nice and helps with the wind at night. I enjoyed my stay and wandered around a lot. There’s also a supermarket around the corner, where you can get very inexpensive toiletries.

Patrick was very helpful and constantly checking we were happy, asking if we needed anything. Close to the colosseum, a bit further from other sites, metro stop outside, 10 min walk from main train station.

Home away from home.

We had a very comfortable stay at the DVE SUITES. We were out sight seeing most of the day and retuned in the evening. The owner/manager was very helpful. He answered our texts immediately, ordered a taxi to take us to the airport, and recommended restaurants. We could walk to the colosseum, the train station was only 3 blocks away and the metro had an underground entrance/exit right at the front door. The room was very clean and quiet.

fashionable stay in the middle of everything

We have enjoyed our stay at this pearl of a private accommodation. The metro is right outside the door, and you live in fashionable big apartments with nice bathroom etc, in a beautiful building right across from a park. Just outside is also a lovely cafe with smiling service and good prices. The host is very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended. Kim and Vivi Maarup .. Denmark

Great property within 10 min walk of Termini station and with a metro stop right outside the front door. Owner is super communicative and can provide a lot of information about Rome and the area. Would definitely stay again.

Pleasant one night stay here! Room was as pictured and clean. Very nice, large bathroom. Location was great for us traveling through via train. Only slight downer was the bed being not hard and not very comfortable.

Spacious and comfortable

For us the location was very important the gentleman at the front desk is very helpful and took care of us the entire time we were there.

6/10 Good

The staff was great and very kind. The room was okay, bed was a bit stiff, no view from the window besides the building across, it was okay. The walls are thin tho, I had a group also staying in the hotel and I could hear them loudly and laughing for 3 nights in a row, all the way till 2 - 3 in the morning sometimes. I didn’t like that. But the hotel was okay, staff was friendly, and the metro is right outside the front door

Terrific Place to Stay in the Heart of Rome

The door leading outside is just a dozen steps from an entrance to the subway. There's an antique elevator so no climbing stairs. There's good air conditioning. The owner Patrick is friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. The suite with 5 beds and 2 bathrooms was perfect for my family of five.

Spacious rooms

On the whole, we enjoyed our stay at DVE Suite. The host was friendly and very accommodating of our schedule and luggage storage needs. The room was very spacious by European standards. The hotel is conveniently located right by a metro station, as well as a larger grocery store. The area surrounding the hotel is very multicultural. There were lots of food options, but not as many that featured traditional Italian cuisine. The area generally felt safe, following usual precautions for tourists. Unfortunately, our shower did not have hot water. The bed was very firm and the bedding was lightweight. While our room was serviced, our bed was left unmade.

8/10 Very good

The host was very helpful and answered any questions we had! The only thing we had to complain about was that there wasn’t enough hot water for my husband and I to both shower without it turning ice cold. Other than that it was in a very convenient location- walkable from train station and to main sights in Rome!

The reviews were spot on: good value, friendly proprietor, directly across from a park and metro stop. Some will say the area is a little dodgy, but we didn’t feel unsafe at all. We actually found it pretty charming with 3 or 4 cafes and a nice clothing store on the same block. This isn’t a 5 star hotel obviously, but it met our needs. As was the case with all our hotels in Italy, this is a small operation on one floor of a building with about 4 rooms IIRC. We found it pretty easily but weren’t sure what to do upon arrival as the main entrance was locked. Turns out their little sign on the wall is a buzzer you have to push to the side to ring the manager who will then buzz you in. Take the charming old elevator up to floor 3 for check in. We arrived about 11:30 AM and he prepared our keys and allowed us to leave our bags for a couple hours until the room would be ready at 2 pm. We didn’t pay for the breakfast package, but there was a kettle and great selection of Nescafé instant beverages in the room. The manager was actually kind enough to offer us freshly made coffee drinks in the morning for free, and we took him up on it both days. All in all a solid stay in a nice place on a budget.

Great apartment, bad licality

The ost ( Patrizio) was excellent. He waited for us at the property ( I honk it is more of an Airbnb than a hotel). Good thing is that he lives close by. The physical location of the property is not great…. But the unit was excellent…. I thin the area around the train station in Rome has declined really badly… some one needs to do something for the businesses and the people…. It is deteriorating fast!
