Overpriced for what you get

This hotel is in a nice location with a beautiful outward appearance, dining room, and lobby. Unfortunately, that's where it stopped for us as the price seemed too high once we journeyed to our rooms. Both rooms seemed dated, in need of repair and very run down (not charmingly vintage) which would be ok if the price reflected the value.

Out of the way in a beautiful neighborhood...well marked to get there...very quaint accomodations....bed was amazing....breakfast was great and staff very friendly.

The quality & service at breakfast was 10/10 - thank you to the fantastic host who seamlessly did 10 people’s work! The room (No 2) however had major issues - not worth £400 per night. Dirty metal/copper sink and bath, no AC, swarms of midges outside so the window cannot be opened at all - no air circulation, smell of dog strong initially, itchy bedsheets, dirty carpet and bad drainage in shower caused overflow anytime we showered. Overall OK, we managed, and Skye is beautiful but not worth £400 per night!

The room was incredibly clean and comfortable and the breakfast was lovely! Parking was a nice perk. The staff were incredibly helpful. Great place to stop if you're planning on doing a day or two on Isle of Skye.

The property is in a good location if you want to walk around the town of Inverness. It is not a fancy hotel, so if that is what you want then look elsewhere but if you are only staying a night or two, this place is good enough if you are not picky. Staff was friendly.

Perfectly situated near the bridge to Skye so it made it easy to explore the island. The room was lovely and overlooked a monkey puzzle tree. Very unique. Wonderful restating hotel, very good local fare. Enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Broadford Hotel- home away from home

We really enjoyed our two nights at Broadford. We had a bit of an issue at check in w a room far smaller than was reserved but they found us a proper room across the road at the “lodge” which was very nice (50 yards away). The staff was excellent all around. Shout out to Lynette. Very nice breakfast and our single dinner was very, very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay once settled in. Would stay again.

It isn’t very different from the last time we stayed here 4 years ago but they have nearly no staff. Same guy checks in guests and seats for dinner and serves dinner and cleans the rooms. Convenient location and comfortable mostly clean rooms but bring your patience.

Hotel was very nice. Went to the pub for dinner, the food was very good. The manager is very friendly and nice. Breakfast was good. The only negative comment would be getting to the room with suitcases, the fire door at the top of the stairs makes it difficult to get your bags up the top of the stairs. Room was large, clean and comforatable

It would be very beneficial for them to install an elevator - just a small one to handle luggage up the stairs. Wonderful hosts - just can't seem to do enough to make sure you are happy. Loved this place.

For the price we paid the room was inadequate. I could have stayed in a five star hotel instead. This was an Expedia nonsense for a B&B for which I paid $300 ???!!! We travelled all across Scotland and even the room at Rusacks in St Andrews overlooking the 18 th hole was cheaper and the food and services was fantastic.

Not worth the money they charge.

Pretty disappointed with my stay in all honesty. For £300 per night, I would expect a hell of a lot more. No breakfast was included. There was no hairdryer in the room. Paint was flaking off the woodwork. Loose tiles on the bathroom floor. Loud music from bar area until after 10:30pm. I could hear people from other rooms constantly stomping around, banging doors etc. An absolute rip off charging obscene amounts of money.

dangerously slippery, guests treated secondary

I think the hotel treats the guests secondary to their drinking locals on the ground level. There was no staff to check us in, but they were at the restaurant side. And, no disabled parking in front of the hotel. All taken by the mini vans and a local bus. The room was on 2nd flight, and the bathroom was tiled with slippery wall tiles and very slippery, and, the mold and missing grouts add more shabbiness. The room was too hot, and the noise from the corridor and tavern below us were not acceptable. The fire door to the guestroom floor opens to the steps, dangerously. And, the corridor was covered with the dust from paint prep job. They want the tourist money but do not provide the basic hotel service. just looking good in the photos but not acceptable conditions. Amateurish Operation and maintenances. Overpriced and overrated.
