Nada de lujo que prometen: sucio y mal servicio
El servicio fue pésimo. El encargado me dijo que era un hotel barato y que estaba recibiendo lo que pagaba. Las sábanas estaban sucias, me ofrecieron otro cuarto, pero me advirtieron que las sábanas estaban en las mismas condiciones y que tendría que esperar hasta el día siguiente a que llegara el personal de intendencia. El agua de la alberca estaba verde, había heces en la ventana y cucarachas en el piso. El tanque del baño no llenaba correctamente, pero el encargado insistió en que era “normal”; al final, lo revisaron y efectivamente tenía una falla. Por la noche, no hay servicio de limpieza ni mantenimiento, solo hay un empleado con muy malos modos atendiendo el lugar. Debido al pésimo servicio al cliente y las malas condiciones del hotel, decidí cambiarme al día siguiente. Pedí un reembolso, pero me dijeron que no hacían reembolsos. Lo único positivo fue que nos consiguieron transporte del aeropuerto al hotel.

Lovely boutique hotel. The views are gorgeous from their deck. Overall a great place. A few notes. The beach is not great and the road to the hotel is really bad. They also have a LOT of rules and are kinda sticklers about them.

El lugar es increíble, solo el camino de tierra para llegar es un poco complicado para uatos bajitos. No nos tocó tener algo de sombra cerca de la alberca y el refri del bar estaba fallando, así que no había algunas bebidas frías. La música en el bar y restaurante podría ser mejor. Pero en general el personal fue muy amable y atento.

As mentioned in previous reviews, the road to this property is pretty bumpy but this is common for any road taking you to a cenote area. A divers cenote is a short walk so the road is kept unpaved for preservation. The room itself is decent. It has more of a bnb vibe. You will need to cab or drive but careful driving in mx and in this area. There are the obvious reasons you can research but also the road is difficult and could result in car issues. I saw a famiy trying to pull a large branch that was caught around their exhaust. The staff are very sweet. I really appreciate the young lady at the front desk and Jose who works in the restaurant. (I don't recommend the pizza btw). A taxi to town is 500 pesos ($25 USD). The hotel tells you the price and if you just have the cash ready, the taxis accept you know. If you ask how much, they will try to extort you. Make sure you book airport to hotel transfer no matter where you stay or take the ADO bus. I wouldn't rebook this location but enjoyed myself regardless. Highly recommend checking out Playa Paraiso beach and Taqueria Honorario.

Road getting to the hotel is HORRIBLE. So many potholes that it take 15-20 minutes to go just over a mile. Would stay again except for the road. Hated the idea of leaving or coming back to the hotel. Thought it would damage our rental car, a smaller crossover.

In NEED of cleaning and maintenance
The pictures at Hotel.com’s website is absolutely no similarity to the currently condition of this hotel!… dirty, worn out and in desperate need of some maintenance. We checked in at approximately 15 pm. (prepaid) and checked out again 15:30 pm. due to the poor state of this establishment. Takes about 15 minutes to drive the 1.3 km from the exit of the main road to the hotel due to the bumpy dirt road.
