This hotel was in the perfect position for us, we didn’t need to use the car at all, close to everything we needed. Hotel was clean and it was obvious that staff worked hard to keep the level of cleanliness. Staff were really kind and helpful and very approachable. This is a perfect place from which to explore the entire area, including Stonehenge in Salisbury which is easily reachable via the train just across the street, as are local ferries and buses. The old port district, Cathedral and Portsmouth Museum are a pleasant 15 to 20 minute walk, and there are plenty of food options. Highly recommend!

The Ship Leopard is very close to the Historic Docklands entrance, which was the reason for our visit. We very much appreciated being allowed to leave our car in the car park after checking out, until we left the dockyard in the early afternoon - thank you!
