Kids loved the pool, excellent neat and clean please great location, close to good restaurants and the national Lake Park. Had a wonderful one night stay there . The host was extremely helpful as well. Would highly recommend for families

Great location for lakes

We received a warm welcome by the host. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Good location for drice to Plitvice but not good to walk out to a restarant on evening but property did offer a evening meal & breakfast at a charge. There was also a charge for air con for 15 euros which was first time we came across having to pay a charge on our travels for this & it made sleeping at night rather unconfortable. Tea/ coffee would have been nice since cups, saucers & kettle provided. Loungers by the pool looked tired but functional. Balcony on ground floor was unfinished & falling away from the main building.

Everything was very clean. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good. My only recommendation, and I’m not sure if this can be done through Expedia app, is clarify that you do want breakfast in the morning. I did not see the option to do that but they were able to accommodate us so, you might want to clarify w/ them at check in.

Our host was very responsive and met us upon our arrival. Our room was so clean and comfortable, and as nice as it looked in the photos. It was plenty spacious and had everything we needed. Parking was easy and the whole property felt incredibly well cared for. The pool was amazing - so clean and refreshing, and I only wish we had more time for it. I would highly recommend this place to others. It is only about a 5 minute drive from the Plitvice Lakes National Park, where we spent some time, and there were also restaurants and markets very close by.

The owner or the receptionist are very nice to deal with and they were ready to help us whatever questions or servicel. Their property looked so cute and pretty. Only my concerns ware not properly cleaned so there was old dust on the corner of the floor and the towels looked so worned and not white at all. Otherwise good.

My family and I stayed at Villa Stone in Čatrnja, Rakovica for one night while visiting Plitvice National Park, and I honestly wish we could’ve stayed longer. From the moment we arrived—late in the evening and in the rain—we were welcomed with genuine warmth by Mate, the host. Mate went above and beyond. Not only did he help us get settled in after our long travel day, but he also cooked us a full homemade dinner, which was a truly generous and memorable gesture. His kindness made us feel less like hotel guests and more like family. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. It felt like a true countryside retreat. The setting is peaceful and picturesque, with cows and sheep nearby, which kept our children completely entertained. If you're heading to Plitvice, do yourself a favor and stay here. Between the hospitality, the comfort, and the charm of the location, Villa Stone is easily one of the best places we've stayed on our trip. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

Prachtig plek dichtbij de meren. Idyllisch met schaapjes waar je tegen aankijkt en mooie luchten/ zonsondergang. Veel privacy, heerlijk zwembad en erg gastvrije eigenaar die desgewenst een lekkere BBQ maakt en je ontbijt extra vroeg klaar maakt als dat ivm bezoek aan de meren gewenst is. Ook heerlijke kamers.
