Run-Down apartment but still comfortable
The stay was okay, acceptable. Book a junior one bedroom apartment. The apartment was run down, dull and not that clean. What i suggest to the hotel, is that do a repaint to the wall. Change the sofa, as its all so old, prepare a garbage bag for customer to use.put more deco to the apartment so that it wont be dull anymore

Room is alright. There is an international electrical outlet for your plugs. No usb outlet. Buffet's good. I love the herbal bar. Gym's good, big, though rowing machine spoilt. I came for their tub. Though they fixed it the hot water came out like piss at first. Made me not wanna use the tub anymore.

Junior suite is not good
We stayed in this hotel a few times but this is the first time for junior suite which happened to be in the apartment side. The cleanliness and maintenance of room is not up to standard. The plates and cutleries are dirty and no dishwashing liquid provided. The fridge doesn't get cold. There is no hand towel and bathrobes. I had to call 2x to get it. The design of the bathroom is bad. There is no division between the lavatory and the shower. I'm always worried the water will get to the hairdryer. The drain is very slow when you shower so there's water everywhere. The wifi password indicated in the room card they provide you during check-in is not correct. Staff in the reception area are friendly, no issues there. The check-in/out is fast.

System down? Hmm...
Greeted with a smile from the frontliners. From security to reception very welcoming. Well done. During checking in process, i was told that their system was having some issues and im told to wait. 45 minutes later my wife check with the reception staff and finally we are able to check in and straight to our room. Cleanliness was good. Im impressed with the wifi connection. Breakfast was not bad but was not good either. Was at the dining hall around 6.10am but some of the live food station was not in operation. Food choices is okay but there are still many room for improvement. This is my first time here and i hope it can be better next time . Overall its a pleasant stay. I hope i can see some improvements if i return for another stay. Keep it up.

Management must seriously look at the front office behaviour, my bed sheets were dirty and I request for a change of bed sheets the next day, it was through my shock that the front office staff said that I had to pay RP50,000? why would you charge clients for washing of the bed sheets when it is not the clients issue? I stayed many times and cannot believe that this is how aston treats their long term customers, becareful of front office staff trying to scam hotel guest

**Length of Stay: 1 night (25-26 May 2024)** Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) I recently stayed at Aston Pelita Batam for one night, from 25th to 26th May 2024. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory, especially due to an unsettling incident and the unhelpful attitude of the night front desk staff. On the night of 25th May, we experienced a bizarre episode in our room, number 804. Around 11 PM, the kettle in our room inexplicably boiled by itself three times. This eerie occurrence made us feel extremely uneasy, prompting us to leave the room immediately. Seeking assistance, we approached the night front desk staff, hoping for a swift resolution to our predicament. Despite my crying for help and requesting to change rooms, the staff insisted that all rooms were fully booked and offered no solution or remedy. Due to the lack of support, we ended up bunking with our friends in room 830 for the remainder of the night. To add to the frustration, when I called the front desk in a panic to request extra towels to be sent to our friends' room (since we left abruptly without even taking a shower), the staff hung up on me. This lack of empathy and support was incredibly disappointing. This incident significantly marred our stay. While the hotel may have other redeeming qualities, the unsettling experience in room 804 and the unhelpful response from the night staff

Hiteo with NO heater. Change to service apartment after waiting for 2hrs longer late check in. Worst with shower room flooded. Wet floor in the bathroom which is very dangerous slippery to use the toilet as it is no partion to seperate. Using hair dryer stick on the wall with wet slippery floor in the bathroom it is very dangerous. Staff at the house keeping Using malay language to scold us stuip to come here for whay. How rude it is and they think we dont understand malay? Unsafe and dangerous with this hotel which i will never ever stay.

My family and I booked the 3BR apartment for a 3D2N stay at this hotel. The apartment was huge and overall comfortable but there was a few points to bring up for this stay: 1. Due to booking from Expedia, we weren't notified that we could communicate with the hotel using whatsapp. Hotel did not respond to message on expedia with regards to possible arrangements for pick up at ferry terminal. 2. Wanted to dine in at Gravity 10 for dinner on 22 Mar but was informed by Gym staff that bar would only open at 8pm. The bar was supposed to open from 6pm and we were left with no options but to dine out for my brother's birthday. 3. Checked on pool options with the front desk but was informed that the pool was for residents only. Would be good to clearly indicate this on all your 3rd party booking apps to avoid disappointment for your guests. 4. We went for massage on the last day of stay to find staffs busy on their phones. While the counter staff did attend to us, she did not mention that there was a waiting time as there were no staff available yet.(it was 11am) my mum and i waited close to 10mins with our clothes off to find out that they were waiting for 1 other masseuse to come in to start. No disposable underwear was offered to us until we requested for it. The massage service ended with no tea/hot towel. While leaving, we saw multiple masseuses lying down on the floor of their staff room on using their phones. 5. TV options were limited and some channels had no signal.

The apartment-hotel was generally clean with very good service. Relatively accessible to the main shopping area. Breakfast was good. Staff was responsive - even asked if I wanted to make up my room in the afternoon when I left the DND sign. However, do note that the hotel is right next to the road so the road noise is quite loud, even later at night.
