This place was perfect, right out side Vatican City wall. The staff was so helpful and accommidating with anything we needed. Communication about check in was amazing, and they were able to meet us the moment we got to the hotel even though check in was not for 4 more hours. Felt super safe at the resort, and again location was just what I wanted.

Enough to sleep and get rest.

The hotel was in a very central location but was not easy to find first. There was a very small signboard on the building which you could see only near the entrance. The building has a nostalgic lift which was amazing to see it was still working very well. The hotel was at the 3rd flat of a building not like a dedicated building made us a bit disappointed. However, they gave us the keys of the entrance door and the flat door so it turned out feeling like staying in your rented flat. But do not expect a common hotel experience. There were very limited plugs in our room and was not enough to charge our phones, smart watches, external batteries and camera equipments. There were three available plugs; one in the bathroom, two near the two sides of the bed. Cattle was not stopping itself after the water boiled. Only one bin was in the bathroom. The most important thing for us was the air conditioner which was working very well. Windows were looking to the garden which was relatively comfortable to prevent the city noise. Unfortunately do not expect a city view. Shower gels were provided like small tester bags which were not enough sometimes. Particularly if you have shower twice in a day under 35 degree sunlight. Cupboard was enough and clean. If you need something urgent you have to wait until the staff appears who you can not find at the flat most of the times. They helped us to leave our luggage on our last day in Rome after checking out. Staff was very friendly.

Not great for family stay with luggage

This property was very difficult to find. The sign on the building was very small. You need to buzz them during business hours to get inside the building and they ask a few times to ensure they are there when you arrive. The elevator is small and with young children and luggage is difficult. They were helpful to get us transportation to the airport for our departure. It was expensive, but seems all airport transfers are. The room wasn’t exactly a “suite” as it was labeled, but the sleeping arrangements were comfy. I wouldn’t stay again. Even though the location was good for the Vatican, it was too challenging to find and get our things in and out of there.

Not so great

I will say that the room was very clean and has a good location. That's the only good thing. It was a very boring room. Definitely no extras. The day we checked in the toilet was broken. I understand things break. We also knew they were not on the premises 24/7 but had a 24 hour number. We had to call the number to get help after 5pm and they told us about an 20 minutes to come and fix the toilet. After almost an hour we called again and they said just another10 minutes. After another hour they arrived and fixed it. Later that night it broke again and we called several times and they never answered. We could not reach anyone on the phone number so we had no toilet all night and in the morning we had to wait for the desk worker to arrive at 8:00 am and she called and got somebody to come and fix it. If you want a bare bones room to sleep in with no help from the management then go ahead and stay there.

Wonderful ladies running the hotel. Answered questions, friendly, breakfast was very good. Kept room clean daily but most of all the best thing about the hotel was the location. Walked to Basilica and restaurants. Taxi station was across the street for travel to other sites farther away. The 6 nights there in Rome was absolutely wonderful!

Great location, just 5 minutes walk to St. Peter's Basilica and Vatican museum. Near metro station and bus stops. Super clean room with modern touches like it has recently been remodeled. The only reason they get 4star is there are no universal electrical outlets or usb outlets anywhere. Their wall outlets only accept local 2-round prong plugs.
