Central to attractions with comfort

We heartily enjoyed our stay at the Henna Hotel Istanbul. It is a charming boutique Hotel in close approximation to many of the sights (Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cistern etc.) The staff are mostly warm and friendly - seek out Ali for expert Istanbul tips. The rooftop restaurant has an amazing view and the Turkish breakfast is not to be missed.

Wonderful stay in Istanbul

The hotel manager exhibits hospitality in the truest sense. She goes above and beyond in ensuring that your stay is a great one. The breakfast itself is worth the price of the stay, with a breathtaking view and incredible variety and quality (and this million-dollar view is available to guests anytime). The location is also convenient to major attractions as well as restaurants, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Great stay at the Henna

Staff were amazing, kind and friendly. Very helpful Breakfast included and was excellent Rooftop patio had back views of hagia Sofia and the blue mosque as well as the bosphorus. In sultanamet and walking distance to most attractions. Beautiful boutique hotel Upscale

Thankyou for a great stay. Amazing hotel in a great location that makes it so easy to get to all the sights. The roopftop terrace for breakfast is so fantastic. Great views to the water and the two mosques. Really lovely welcoming staff who were all so helpful. Thankyou again

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the Henna Hotel. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The breakfast on the rooftop deck was wonderful. The staff was great; Ali, the general manager, was especially friendly and helpful. I might note that our room overlooking the busy street was a bit noisy quite late into the night. We didn’t mind it … made us feel connected to the hustle and bustle of Istanbul. If that’s not your thing, you may want to request a room farther back from the street.

Boutique Hotel qui mérite ses étoiles.

J'ai réservé cet hôtel pour un voyage prévu en septembre 2025 avec ma maman, et j'ai souhaité le tester en amont afin de m'assurer qu’il conviendrait, lors de mon déplacement business en Mai. J’y ai donc séjourné cinq jours et j’ai été absolument ravie de mon expérience. Le personnel est aux petits soins, toujours souriant et disponible, ce qui rend le séjour très agréable. Avec de nombreux conseils sur les coins à visiter. Le petit déjeuner - fait maison avec des saveurs locales - est copieux, varié et servi dans une ambiance paisible, parfaite pour bien commencer la journée. Les chambres sont spacieuses, confortables, avec un mobilier de style art déco, sobre mais élégant. L’hôtel est idéalement situé pour découvrir les merveilles d’Istanbul : à deux pas de la cathédrale Sainte-Sophie, de la Mosquée Bleue, et entouré d’une multitude de restaurants qui offrent un large éventail de saveurs locales et de nombreux roof-Top avec de sublimes vues. Une belle adresse que je recommande vivement et où je suis impatiente de revenir en septembre !

Ich war nun zum zweiten Mal in diesem Hotel und werde definitiv auch beim nächsten Aufenthalt wieder hier buchen. Die Lage ist unschlagbar – mitten im Zentrum, sodass alles bequem zu Fuß erreichbar ist. Das gesamte Personal war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und gepflegt, man merkt, dass hier auf Sauberkeit großer Wert gelegt wird. Auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker: für jeden was dabei, frisch und lecker zubereitet. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Hotelmanager, der stets freundlich war und sich persönlich um das Wohl der Gäste kümmert. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt – ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal!

4 days in Istanbul

Fab hotel, fab staff, and manager. Just visit this place, you will not be disappointed. The staff couldn't help enough. The manager greeted you every morning at breakfast. Well, you were greeted by all staff whenever they saw you, very caring about your day too. Guided you on how you could spend your time too. Roof comfy and clean, rooftop breakfast, well what a way to start yiur day. Everything was just perfect.

Henna Hotel in Istanbul... the best

Absolutely excellent stay, this is our 2nd time here and well worth the trip from the airport. The staff are attentive and you feel that personal touch the moment you enter the door. Breakfast is amazing, tv is huge, overall extremely happy with our choice in Istanbul. Also very well placed for the blue mosque, hagia sofia and palace, all 10 mibutes walk away

Located very close to most iconic sites. Staff were excellent, Sema and Ali answered all questions and made us feel very welcomed. Staff were very accommodating. The terrace is amazing.
