Perfect location to Cuba and Courtenay, all necessities met for an overnight stay. Spacious room. Can't complain about pokey bathroom considering all other locations were more expensive with a shared bathroom. Suited perfectly for a Sat night out on the town.

Very cheap, in the middile of town. The whole place looks a bit rough around the edges but the staff keep it very clean.

A very basic room without any window, inside an old building. Air exhaust of the building was noisy all the time like flying in an aircraft. Small Bathroom and kitchenette/ fridge adequate and clean, also very minimalistic. Clean sheets but floors not clean and sticky, can’t have been vacuumed let alone washed for a long time. Gaps between floorboards full of dirt. Would not stay again. Location very handy and central, bus stop opposite building, easy to walk everywhere.

It was lovely and quiet. A cheap room with all you need. I liked the community area and wasn't aware I could cook so that was a bonus for next time. Squeaky floors but an old building. It suited me fine and location was close to what I want

The room was ok, the bed was relatively comfortable, and the property wasn’t as bad as the reviews portrayed it to be. The tv had Netflix which was a bonus. The shower was good. It was relatively quiet considering how the property is in the middle of the party precinct. It is more like a backpackers than a hotel, but of a relatively higher quality than a standard backpackers.

The extract ducting was noisy. The shower head needed replacing a long time ago. Lifting the toilet seat i found it hadn't been cleaned from the previous tenants, the toilet brush is disgusting and a health hazard. Finally mopping the floors with a dirty mop is not classed as cleaning. The floor was sticky and i witnessed the mopping in person. The whole experience made me feel sick and i would never come back.

The room was clean and tidy, but the walls were paper thin, the guy next door snored like a freight train all night, the floors were noisy when people walked over them in the early hours and late at night, you could hear people’s conversations loud and clear in neighbouring rooms. Extremely basic rooms.
