The staff was helpful and the property nice. However, it is on one of the busiest streets in Edinburgh--so, difficult to sleep at night due to the noise. Because of this, we wouldn't stay there again.

Great location, easy to get there from the airport, lovely restaurants nearby and close to all the tourist stuff. Great apartment, really well equipped and nicely presented. Couple of relatively minor points- the apartment is quite big, the bed is too small and not that comfy. Also in the small dressing room there’s a full length mirror & storage but no place to plug anything in. Other than that a really good and easy would have happily stayed longer.

Booked a comfort double, got a 2 bed apartment in the basement, so review is based on that. Good: well appointed with solid build and craftsmanship with furniture and decor in as-new condition. Comfy bed, great bathroom and shower, spacious lounge diner. Bad: bedrooms themselves are tiny so cases had to be opened and unpacked in the living area. No elevator but stairs are steep, narrow and winding. Basement room looked out on a wall and was noisy with traffic and tram

Pretty Good
The apartment we stayed in was great. We especially loved being able to make breakfast every morning. It was clean, well-maintained, and communication for the most part was good. We did call the "emergency" after-hours number a couple of times but no one answered. Emails were answered quickly, though, even on the weekend. As others have said, the location is quite loud. On our final night, there were crews working on the street right below our windows at two in the morning. Earplugs allowed us to go back to sleep. Note: there is no lift, which means trekking up three flights of stairs if you're on the second floor. Two suggestions: have better washer-dryer combo instructions available since even by searching the model #, it's impossible to find them online. Second, a couple of extra throws or blankets.

This property is very spacious and conveniently located. We reserved his twice as part of our trip inbound and outbound purposely for the washer/dryer. Instructions even on the app are not clear to travelers that do not utilize all in one machines. Overall the property is clean with lots of amenities.

We enjoyed our stay. Clean, spacious apartment, separate bedrooms with darkening blinds. Great location so close to the transportation, airport express bus, train station, grocery, restaurants. Walking distance to all the major points of interest. Keyless entry is very convenient. Full kitchen with a dining area. Left a few suggestions to the management on some cosmetic improvements but overall - no issues. Highly recommending!

Beautiful apartment with modern conveniences. Based in Haymarket, we could walk to delicious restaurants around the block and fun shopping minutes away. Felt very safe, although we always felt safe in Scotland. We would stay here again!

Overall, Destiny Scotland -Distiller's House was quite nice. Very nice neighborhood. About 15-20 minute walk to the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. Lots of nearby restaurants and other services. I'm from the US. It's unusual to rent a place and have zero physical interaction with anyone at all. I was emailed a door access code, both for the front security door and our room. An extraordinary regal decorated lobby and adjunct rooms worthy of a Hollywood set. The room was one of the smallest in which I have ever stayed yet comfortable and all amenities however the shower/tub is incomplete and allows for water spray all over.

Fantástico y lujoso apartamento con todo tipo de detalles que te hacen sentir como en casa. Espacioso y muy bien equipado con horno moderno con opción de microondas , hervidor de agua , tostadora , lavadora secadora , todo el menaje básico para cocinar. Nevera espaciosa , me gustaron los productos de higiene corporal , una fragancia buenísima , tanto el gel de ducha como el jabón de manos . He querido comprar el producto online pero no se puede comprar fuera de UK . El único inconveniente pero que no es culpa del alojamiento es no haber ascensor , pero , por la tipologia de edificio y su arquitectura con escaleras tipo caracol y el edificio típico del Reino Unido , muchos edificios no suelen llevar ascensor , es recomendable no llevar maletas grandes y muy pesadas . Me encanto el apartamento , me dio pena irme . Desde luego que si vuelvo a Edimburgh escogeré este lugar . Excelente
