Not too hospitable

Property is just ok, didn’t necessarily feel 100% safe and comfortable. Property is divided into 3 different buildings or so, so you check in one building and then walk to another. In order to utilize property amenities you have to walk to a sister property about a half mile away. I checked in late night (around 11PM) because we flew in from Cleveland, and we didn’t get there until that time. We were just staying for one night before leaving for a cruise in the morning. When we checked in, we asked the guy at the front desk (Tyson was his name) if we could come back after our cruise a week later and sit by the pool for a few hours seeing as we had already paid the resort fee, and never utilized i, and our flight didn’t leave Miami until 5:00 so we wanted to leave our bags with the front desk and sit by the pool rather than sitting at the airport all day long. I’ve done this at other hotels that we have stayed at before with no issue. He said that would be fine, but when we came back, another guy was there and refused to let us do so unless we paid another resort fee. So we did, just to sit by their sister properties pool for a few hours. Didn’t swim in it, it was freezing cold. He could have just locked up our bags and let us hang out for a few hours, again other hotels have let me do so in the past w/o any issue. It’s the hospitality business, your supposed to be accommodating to your guests. The rusty shelves in the bathrooms need to go.

We were so excited about this trip since of us are spring break. It was my husband and son and me excited to be in South Beach. I’m so excited when I found this hotel through Hotels.com but arriving check in to 45 minutes in the room smell like smoke. It was terrible even when I came home my suitcase and clothes smells like cigarette. I was awful. I don’t think I’m ever going back to that hotel. Also, they never told us their pool was on their maintenance. Had to go to another hotel to used their pool.

Good stay

Disappointed that their pool was closed for maintenance and a bit of issues with the key cards which were not working for myself and many guests but they fixed it. Beautiful and clean room. Very comfortable.

Deixaram a desejar

Deixaram muito a desejar, pegamos o quarto com o piso sujo e assim ficou na estadia de 8 dias, tivemos as camas arrumadas e toalhas trocadas apenas 2 dias depois de muito insistir. Piscina fechada e o estacionamento que dizem ter não é no hotel e sim na rua pago por hora e 2 quadras longe.

Not one of the better ones.

Great location. Free cocktail of day is super watered down and bar tender rude when there’s paying customers so we had to wait a bit, at that point don’t even offer free cocktails. We found parking 2-3 blocks down very inconvenient specially if we forgot something in the car it is $35 a day and it is not guaranteed. Beach is quite a few blocks to walk to, across a busy street. There were no loungers for us to use they were all reserved for fancier hotels and we could not rent any of them. We were in 2nd building had to walk over to building with front desk to request Beach towels or any other item for the room. Front desk gal when we checked in around 4:30 was kinda rude especially when we would ask for anything or call, just didn’t want to go in and ask for anything even though we paid for our stay. Morning girl was very friendly and approachable as well as when we checked out at 3am. Beds were comfy and room was a good size for 4 of us. Lots of places to eat and souvenir shops walking distance. Pool was down for maintenance. Room had a moldy smell. Key cards would easily deactivate. Sadly would not recommend this hotel. Stay across the street where beach is actually behind hotel.
