The house owner were very nice and friendly. They will help you for car paring around old town which is very important. Alao, the room was big and comfortable. We can walk around the town and back for rest anytime.

I would highly recommend this hostel if you are staying in split The location is quite good, just next to the north gate (golden gate) of the old city The hostel owner is very friendly and helpful, they contacted us before our arrival to make sure check-in would be smooth. They also recommend us some location restaurants and activities which are very nice The room are new, tidy and clean It is a very comfortable and enjoyable stay for us

Great location in the old town, room and service were wonderful. Loved all the amenities like robes as a slippers, even beverages in the fridge. The most comfortable room we stayed in during our trip to Croatia. Breakfast was included at a local restaurant which was convenient and delicious. Highly recommend.

Grgur Ninski rooms are in an amazing location right inside the historic centre of the Old City. The clean and comfortable rooms have been beautifully renovated. The very helpful owner sent us restaurant suggestions, instructions for our arrival and he also parked our car making everything stress free. The complimentary drinks in the fridge were much appreciated. Highly recommended for a stay in Split.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Host was very attentive and provided great recommendations. We got picked up at the airport by super friendly driver that helped us get to the place, which was so nice after a long international flight and landing in a new country. Would stay here again!

Excellent stay!

We had a lovely stay. You’re right in the heart of the old town, close to everything. Room was clean and well maintained. Comfortable bed. Just as pictured. He picked us up from the airport (reasonable fee)

Location, Comfort & Value

The location of these rooms is wonderful. Falcon, our host, greeted us enthusiastically soon after arrival with much information about our stay and the local dining options. The room was very comfortable with a stocked mini-bar. This was a welcome treat. The showers were hot with plush bath towels, bathrobes and slippers. The history of the Diocletian Palace is right there in the room with a stone wall and windows that are a testament to the history of this building. The breakfast at the LVXOR Hotel (2 minutes away) was delicious and served in yet another part of the palace overlooking the square. There were so many dining options with 1 to 5 minutes from the rooms. Falcon would have taken us to the airport but we had already prepaid for a ride. Overall, this was a fantastic three nights in Split.

Sista natten på en längre vistelse bodde vi på Grgur. Det låg supercentralt, och var väldigt bra på det stora hela, med bra och enkel incheckning. Generöst med påfylld minibar och fräscht rum. Bra frukost ingick på ett närliggande café. Det "negativa" skulle vara att rummet var väldigt litet så det lämpar sig inte för längre vistelser, samt att minibaren/kylskåpet lät väldigt mkt.

Split stay

The room we booked was not the room we were given on arrival. The owner said all the rooms were the same but they don't appear to be on Hotels.com website, different colour decor etc. We booked the larger 20sq metre room but the room we were given was not it. Nothing could be done as the hotel was booked out. We feel that there must have been miscommunication regarding room photos between Grgur Ninski rooms and Hotels.com. There was nothing wrong with the room we stayed in, just disappointing it wasn't the room we booked.
