Not super friendly, got welcomed through an intercom, which i find a bit cold, and again at the check out, very not caring/service oriented. But maybe im a bit sensitiv, as one who sleeps in hotels more then a week per month, i got spoiled.

Very nice hotel in old castle We had a very nice stay with our family of four in this old castle. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and quiet. There is a small playground aimed for younger kids. The restaurant is excellent and also serves the somewhat personal breakfast that is prepared for each party.

A Wonderful Stay
We loved staying in a former castle. Our five and three year old daughters shared the bed with a canopy and felt like true princesses! My wife and I had the pullout bed and it was not very comfortable. The breakfast was great. We would gladly recommend the place to others.

During a 12 day trip across Germany this was easily the BEST schloss I've visited Thanks in part to a beautiful setting and Peter. He was incredibly warm and friendly, even if his English wasn't the best. My only complaint, the water bed. There is a reason these are no longer manufactured. It outdated and incredibly uncomfortable for weary travelers, but I'd stay here again and even sleep on the water bed. It's absolutely stunning and Peter was an amazing Host. Bravo.

Amazing!!!
The hotel is a gem...a beautiful little place nestled in a small village off the beaten path. We stayed just one night and explored the nearby villages by foot. The owner was very helpful in giving us suggestions. And the dinner we had at the hotel restaurant was absolutely amazing! The wine too! This is such a cute little hideaway for a romantic or relaxing stay. Can't wait to go back.

The perfect spot
We loved our stay here! We're on the third week of a month long visit to Germany and it was just what we needed. Ideally located between Bamburg and Wurtzberg with so many quaint towns in between. We were greeted with a glass of really nice wine and then given a tour of the property. Our room was spotless, spacious and so comfortable. Breakfast was extensive -eggs, meats, cheeses, cereals, fresh fruit, juices, coffee, tea and sweet breads. And dinner was incredible - so good we ate there both nights. Unique veggie options as well as local pork and venison dishes. Great folks, great food and all the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. 3 saunas to choose from but we didn't take advantage of them. Highly recommend!

Wir kommen gerne wieder
Wir waren während einer Motorradtour 3 Nächte in Wörners Schloss zu Gast. Nach einer sehr freundliche Begrüßung durch den Schlossherren wurden wir über die häuslichen Gepflogenheiten bei der Getränkeversorgung aufgeklärt: Der Zimmerschlüssel passt auch für die Tür zum gemütlichen Restaurant, wo sich eine Kühlschrank zur Selbstbedienung befindet. Perfekt für Nachtschwärmer, wie wir es sind. Der Service im Restaurant war sehr Aufmerksam und hat immer wieder nach unseren Wünschen gefragt. Auch der Koch versteht sein Handwerk. Ich habe noch Nie ein so leckeres Cordon Bleu gegessen. Der Zimmerservice hat schon während des leckeren Frühstücks das Zimmer wieder auf Vordermann gebracht. Ich hatte ein Himmelbett mit Wassermatratze und habe tief und fest geschlafen. Für zukünftige Reisen in den Süden kehren wir hier sehr gerne wieder ein.

Eine Oase auf unserer Reise
Spontan gefunden und gebucht auf unserer Deutschland-Rundreise... Sehr schöner, sehr familiärer Aufenthalt in reizvollem Ambiente. Nach einem sehr freundlichen Empfang haben wir unser großzügiges Zimmer bezogen. Im Restaurant vor Ort haben wir hervorragend gegessen, es wurde auch problemlos auf die Wünsche unserer „mäkeligen“ Kinder eingegangen. Weil alles so nett war, haben wir gleich eine Nacht verlängert. Fazit: Sehr familienfreundlich, für Genießer guter Küche, gut als Ausgangspunkt für schöne Wanderungen im Steigerwald, zum Entspannen...... Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!
