First, the best things: the apartment is spacious and clean, the area is lovely and the wifi excellent. But finding the place was impossible. It showed up on GPS, but the door was not marked in any way. We had walked 20 mins from the station, it was a hot day and we had suitcases. Finally we called the number we had and were told that Giulia would come and meet us. This she did, but why could we not have been given proper directions?
The shower was very small, and nowhere to put our toiletries anywhere in the bathroom, everything had to go on the floor. There was no spare toilet roll and the towels were small and flimsy. There are no laundry facilities, no iron, nowhere to hang wet clothes we were there for four nights. The kitchen had no bread knife - or any large knife at all, no butter dish, and what cutlery there was, was falling apart.
The apartment has the potential to be really good, but some attention to detail is needed. We suggest the owners spend a night there themselves, when they have had that experience, they will know what we mean.
