Staff was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. Very clean and comfortable room and bed. Great location on the side of the Spanish steps yet very quiet with excellent windows. Only issues: No American news stations on TV. NO coffee provided in room only tea. So bring your own instant coffee. High step up into the tub/ shower which can be a problem if you have hip or knee issues.

This is NOT a 4 star hotel. Check in/out was very difficult. No lobby or restaurant? Breakfast included in rate was across the street, and not good at all! There is no bell person to help with luggage or cabs? Was directed to walk down the street to have my own cab, or drag bags up the Spanish Steps to try at the upper hotels? The rooms are incredibly noisy and was kept up all night long. Would not recommend this, even though the location appears ideal!

The hotel is very conveniently located adjacent to the Spanish Steps. The staff is wonderful (special kudos to Amina who is absolutely lovely). The room was clean and well kept during our stay. Not the quietest room but given its location that’s completely understandable. The room, however, is quite small and the amenities are not great. Again, it’s priced reasonably compared with other hotels in that location but, for example, sometimes the electricity would spontaneously turn off, or the A/C would take forever to turn on, or the shower head was broken, or the mattress wasn’t great. It’s little things that cause minor inconveniences. Overall we were not unhappy and I would not write off staying there again but if your thing is luxury and comfort you may be disappointed.

A bit odd but mostly comfortable.

Air conditioning worked. Paint in the room chipped in many places. No hot water in the morning for a shower. Cars cannot come to the door so you need to be able to walk to taxi stand. Quite noisy in the evening at the Spanish steps. Decor is quite odd and very dated. Hard to find because it is an upper floor in what looks like an office building so you have to look for a little plaque on the side of the door — it doesn’t look like a hotel. They will recommend the restaurant across the street which is not very good.

Ikke noe fellesrom eller vestibyle en kan slappe av i eller møtes for venner. Om du bestiller frokost, så er dette på en restaurant tvers over hotellet. Du kan velge mellom continental eller american fokost, og det er kun en kopp kaffe inkludert. Av en en merkelig grunn så er det ikke kaffe på rommet, kun te. Ta derfor med pulverkaffe om du ønsker dette før frokost eller annen tid på dagen. Flotte rom og en fin liten terrasse direkte på Spansketrappen. Taxiplass ett minutt unna hotellet. Handlegater rett i nærheten

I was booked a Junior Suite per picture at booking, I paid for a Junior Suite and at arrival. Wasn’t given a Junior suite I was given a regular suite very small & ugly not a Junior suite. When my family called to have them switch me to the room that was paid for person in reception hang up phone 6 times. Terrible customer service. They never offered me the switch to the room we paid for, never was offered a refund either

We were never shown the second access to hotel on top os Spainish steps, the air conditioner was not easy to use. It was VERY loud throuhgout the day because of construction. Breakfast times very limited. We never got anything eother morning and then we were told we needed to pay 5 Euro for two bottles of water when we left!!!

Everyone at the hotel was incredibly friendly and helpful. 24 hour concierge service to let you in the building, which is safe and secure in the heart of Rome.❤️ Looking forward to coming back in the next three weeks, highly recommend this hotel if you have older parents or anyone that needs easy access very very convenient, clean , big rooms, super clean and great AC !

I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The location is fantastic, situated in a central area that can sometimes be quite busy. Because of this, the main entrance of the hotel can be difficult to find. I recommend calling the front desk for assistance with your luggage.
