Do Not Stay Here!

This place is one step up from a hostel. The description and pictures are misleading. We have traveled extensively throughout Europe and stayed in many modest European hotels, but this place was terrible. We checked out after one night and the hotels.com service team was able to obtain a refund for part of our stay. To you give you an idea of how bad it was, we were willing to lose over €200 in a cancellation fee that the property charged us. However, if all you want is a bed in a good location, this place could be an option. Still on the fence, let the pictures from our stay speak for themselves.

Hotel is very nice with an old and amazing elevator, very good location. But the most incredible in the hotel is staff, very friendly, very helpful and ready to help. Highly rekomend.

La habitación en esta época es muy fría, está un poco descuidada con humedad y la ducha es sumamente pequeña. También hay q destacar q el personal es amable, te ayudan y dan sugerencias. La zona es segura y caminable. Es buena opción para 2-3 noches

Les chambres sont calmes. Le personnel est très accueillant et à l’écoute, la réception est ouverte sur de larges horaires. J’y ai perdu ma bague mais le personnel a été très vif et l’a retrouvé merci encore. Je recommande.

Nada sobresaliente

Un hotel bastante regular, un edificio muy antiguo, el baño tenía una falla y tuvimos que estar usando agua de la regadera para el excusado, lo reportamos y se solucionaba parcialmente. La cama eran dos individuales una al lado de la otra, es algo incómodo para dormir en pareja. Está bien ubicado pero buscaría otras opciones en otra ocasión.

I had a great stay at this simple yet comfortable hotel right in the heart of Rome! The room itself was basic, but it had everything I needed for a short visit: a comfy bed, clean facilities, and a quiet atmosphere to rest after a busy day. What really stood out, though, was the location—just steps away from some of Rome’s most iconic historical sites. I was able to easily walk to landmarks like the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and Trevi Fountain, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. If you’re looking for a no-frills place to stay with unbeatable access to Rome’s top attractions, this hotel is a great choice.

Lovely short stay break

Lovely hotel, super friendly and very helpful staff. Location was great, found everything within walking distance from the hotel. Could not fault anything about the room, simple but had everything you needed beds were really comfortable. Definitely would stay here again.

Can’t beat the price. The only downside was the small shower for my large husband, haha, but he made it work, (just don’t drop the soap lol) still worth it! Very walkable location. Super friendly and helpful staff! Cleaned our room everyday. Cool old (antique) elevator you get to use l too!

Definitely the shower had black mold on the sides of it. The bathroom door was very hard to close. Aside from that it’s in an awesome spot and the staff is super kind. There are many great dining options around the place and it’s very close to the coliseum

Basic but very pleasent hotel in an amazing area.... everything is walkable from the hotel and for the days you dont feel up to walking there is a bus stop and metro within a 5 minuites walk.... a great base for exploration. The staff are very friendly and offered suggestions through WhatsApp which was appreciated. The shower size was ok which I was worried about from other reviews and i am 6ft 2"... The bed was comfortable and large as was the room.... The only improvements i would suggest is a mini fridge so you can store items from the shop over the road and have some cold drinks 🙂...

Really good location, walked most places and lots of eating options around, little mini market straight over the road that also sells good wine. The room is a good size and everything very clean. Be aware the shower is extremely small tho.
