We slept a 3 nights in the small rooms, and two more in the small apartments. Though fine overall, there were two things in the way of a recommendation. The walls are thin. We could hear our neighbours laugh loudly, the tv or another neighbour in the middle of the night, and the elevator (all rooms in this hotel are close to the elevator). That’s not counting the constant passings of physicals with sirens, all night long. It’s not the best street in Lisbon, but at least it’s next to the metro stop and it does have some nice food places on short walking distance.
The other issue is with the air conditioners. They are supposedly temperature controlling but they just stay on far beyond the temperature they are aiming for. Set it to 23, it produces warm air; set it to 22 and the room turns to ice during the night.
