Great location and clean.

This hotel was in a great location and the room was very large. It was clean and basic and the bed was comfortable. They communicated through messages mostly. Someone was there when I checked-in and otherwise I never saw anyone around the front desk. It's good for a do-it-yourself experience. I recommend it mainly for the location and if you're a family the rooms with bunk beds could be very useful.

Our stay at The Castle House Inn, Stockholm, was a great place to stay. The staff was warm, friendly, and accommodating. Thelocation was walking distance to many tourist attractions, food, and shopping. And the history of Gamla Stan is incredible! If we make it back to Stockholm, we will definitely say there again.

Large room with three beds and a window that opened. Perfect sightseeing location for 3 nights. Bath was pretty small but functional. Typical shower that gets water all over the floor. Cool old building undergoing some renovation in the main entrance. We were undisturbed and check-in was friendly and efficient.

Gamla Stan +Kent

Place was great, it was walking distance from restaurants, bars, stores and the metro. I would stay here again. My brother, my son and I stayed here to see Kent live at 3Arena and it was very easy to get there from Gamla Stan.

A hostel with no amenities or customer service

Please remember this is not a hotel, it’s a hostel and to our great surprise our room didn’t have its own bathroom. This wasn’t obvious in any way when I booked our room. Very very inconvenient! The only positive thing I can say is that it’s in a great location in Old Town. There is no customer service to speak of and now I understand why this ‘hotel’ doesn’t have a phone number: they don’t want to deal with all the complaints.
