Everything was great. Only thing the spa was out of order. The room we were issued had some plumbing issues and the front desk assisted us promptly. The housecleaning crew were outstanding with towels and toiletries.

The hotel was nice, however we did book a suite room and did not get it when we checked in. We were also not told that upon arrival so we’re surprised when we got to our room that it was only the one room. We were traveling with our baby and hoped to put her in her own area to sleep. We paid more for this on hotels.com and then the hotel could not accommodate.

Front desk charged me for my stay even though it was already paid for through hotels.com. Breakfast was sub par at best. Food was cold and they ran out of food over an hour and a half before it was scheduled to close. Many unhappy guests.

Cleanliness of room was disappointing. I don’t know when the last time the ceiling fan had been cleaned. There was a large greasy hand print on the wall and the dishwasher didn’t want to start because the door wouldn’t stay closed. The breakfast was good and the pool area was clean

We were without TV in both rooms. No resolution in sight. We weren’t told at the desk when we checked in and no effect put to fix problem. After a long day of traveling I expect a working TV for news and enjoyment. We are very disappointed with or stay. We only had one bath towel and two hand and two was cloths. Would have appreciated a full set of fresh linens.

The kitchen sink did not drain, the disposal did not work. Spoke to the office person at 6am and he wrote out room number down said maintenance would be in at 8am and we were 1st on his list. Got back to the room around 10am and nobody had been to our room. Called and complained and the front desks response was, so now you don’t want someone to come look at your sink? Maintenance guy came as we were headed out and said we were not on his list. Said sometimes when you call down they say they are writing your number but don’t actually do it. When I told him I watched him write our room number down he didn’t have much to say. 5 floors, ice machin on every floor and the only one that worked was on the 1st floor. Exit signs hangin by wires out of the ceiling or sitting on the floor. The only positive thing about this stay was they had a good breakfast with a lot of variety. We won’t be back.

There was hair in the shower when we got in the room. Also, Orbitz advertises the hotel offers an airport shuttle, not true. This really left us in a bind because my husband had to be at the airport very early in the morning and we had our son with us, who I didn’t want to wake up to take my husband to the airport. The shuttle was the entire reason we booked this hotel. The desk staff didn’t care that it was an issue, basically said we didn’t have to stay there and orbitz told me to book a shuttle on their website that they *might* be willing to reimburse us for, then told us that there was no shuttle available to book, wth? I asked the orbitz agent why she couldn’t guarantee reimbursement for a taxi or something (Uber doesn’t exist in this area apparently) to which she replied “because you haven’t paid for anything, that’s why”. Uh, I paid $220 for a hotel room with an airport shuttle actually. Overall, SUPER disappointed with orbitz and Homewood Suites but mostly Orbitz. The hotel website doesn’t show they have an airport shuttle so Orbitz is the one doing the false advertising and refusing to make it right. I will pay a little extra and not book thru Orbitz anymore since they won’t stand behind their app/website statements.
