I Book this hotel when my flight from Aspen to Fort Lauderdale was canceled due to weather. I was attempting to get an Uber to the Vail airport, where American Airlines had rerouted me, but I was having great difficulty finding any kind of ground transportation. I booked this hotel in the event that I was not able to make my flight from Vail and I took the cancellation insurance that was offered by Expedia. Fortunately, I got a Uber just in time to make my flight from Vail. Because the hotel was noncancelable on Expedia I called the hotel directly when I finally got the Uber and asked them to send me an email confirming the cancellation. I subsequently filed my claim with Expedia/AIG, which declined my claim due to fine print in the terms of the insurance, which, of course I did not have time to read at the time I booked the hotel. Fortunately, the Redstone Inn chose to refund my initial deposit without my even requesting it. Thank you Redstone Inn for your excellent customer service and consideration in this challenging situation. I wish I could say the same for Expedia, but for anyone reading this review… buyer beware!
