I made a booking months ago and also paid in the advance. I had a 24 hour layover in Delhi
Upon arrival, saw my reservation on the computer. Produced my identification. Advised by employee that guests with foreign addresses cannot check into the hotel.
Spoke with two manager's and they advised this was a government regulation. Never heard of this before.
Had to go online and find another hotel. As this was not mentioned to me prior, rating is Terrible for everything.

Poor service and management
Poor service and cleanliness. Had to haul my luggage myself as the staff kept fighting with each other as the shift of one of the personnel was getting over. After travellling for around 12 hrs my kids were really tired and desperately wanted to stretch in bed but the reception wont hand over the keys until you pay. Had to be at the reception for 20 mins. The reception double entried me and had me sign twice and when i asked the reason, no answer. The sleeping sofa bed had lot of dust on it and the cover was torn up. No complimentary shuttle service to the airport, even thought hotels.com describes otherwise. Another customer came complaining about AC not working since 2 days. Staff does not know where to find a pair of extra towels and blankets. Not sure how the rating is above 7. The only good part is that the location of the hotel i guess. Definitely not worth the price you are charged for.

It was hard enough to get here but they would not accept our reservation because we were not Indian. They would not even acknowledge us. Just racism. Avoid this place.

We had a tough time right from check in. I called the hotel from the airport to be told that there was no booking or information from Expedia.
One of our group member - a single lady had a sleepless night as hotel had permitted the next room guest to have a dog with him and that guest had tied the dog outside his room. The dog was uneasy and barking all night and broke open a frame of her door. The hotel staff did not have any solution or regret about it.
They also had given the room on our floor - 1st floor to a bunch of revellers who were shouting all night.
I also have an issue with what I was actually charged and the invoice given. The invoice is much lower than what I have paid. Expedia needs to check and refund the excess amount collected
I am inclined to write against the property on social media

Not able to offer any accommodations to ANY non-Indian citzens. After a long and expensive taxi ride to the hotel they called around and found me a place 9km farther out from the airport which was also primarily designed for Indians but a great manager saved a terrible day.

This stay here has been horrendous to say the least. I've stayed here before in april and it was a good experience then but not now.
To start with, when I checked in, the staff looked disappointed with the cost I booked with. No breakfast was served even though it was included in my stay but the staff denied that it's not included. I ordered some food(chilly paneer) which had hardly 4 pieces of paneer and even the beverage was warm.
Pathetic room service, asked for a water bottle twice, waited for half an hour but nobody came then I had to go myself and get that from downstairs.
To top it all, the hot water wasn't available as the geyser wasn't working.
