It was ok for the money. Very disappointed that another pair of guests was given the key to my room (room 9) instead of their own (room 6) when they checked in and they walked in on me while I was almost naked. I realise crap happens sometimes, but having been told of the mistake by the other guests, the staff member who mixed up the keys didn't bother to come to me to apologise, but just waited for me to go to her to complain. And there was no hint of even a token gesture of goodwill to atone for the acute embarrassment. Talk is cheap. But evidently it doesn't extend to saying to the other guests "you're in room six" so they might go there (instead of my room), realise the key they'd been given didn't fit the lock and that something was amiss. That should be standard operating procedure. Very, very disappointing. Grrrrr! I'll think twice about staying here again, but if I do, I'll make a specific request NOT to be given rooms 6 or 9.

Overall clean tidy , but dated. Beds uncomfortable room small, bathroom small, no glasses in room to drink water, air con blows directly to bed in your face

Ok experience.
For what it's worth, I think the quality of the room was fair. The bed was a little bit un comfortable and room was quite small. Staff was friendly and it was easy to check in and check out.

Given the difficulty in even finding motor hotels which are open, The Waterview is super clean, very convenient and the staff is fab. It is on a main street so you can UBER eats to your heart's content. And the cost is very fair. I would stay there in a flash.
