Our stay at this bed and breakfast in Italy was honestly the worst part of our trip. We accidentally booked five nights instead of four, but the host offered no flexibility or refund for the extra night, despite my repeated requests. Communication with the host was extremely stressful; she bombarded us with WhatsApp messages about our arrival time and demanded a €30 late check-in fee for arriving after 8 p.m. Our flight was scheduled to land at 7 p.m., making it impossible to get there any earlier, but the host gave us an ultimatum—if we didn’t arrive by 9:30 p.m., we wouldn’t be allowed in, even though we had already paid for the room. When we finally arrived, no one met us in person; we simply received instructions for letting ourselves in, making the extra fee feel unreasonable. The room itself was not properly cleaned, and the towels looked dirty—as if they’d been used for cleaning floors. Throughout the stay, the host persistently questioned us about our departure time, even knocking on our door and asking when we were leaving, despite knowing we were staying until Saturday. Overall, the service was consistently unfriendly and inflexible, and the constant pressure and extra fees made our stay uncomfortable. Even though I admit the extra night was my mistake, I expected far better hospitality and understanding. I would not recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone.

Good bed and breakfast. Breakfast is not included. Great location, close to the bus 46 which goes directly downtown, and walking distance from the metro. Allowed to leave our luggage for the day for 10 euros. Really nice host.

The facility is located on a noisy street. The insulation installed in the room is so bad, even when closing all the windows, I still hear the transportation noise from the street, and people talking from another room. The single bed size is small and soft. It doesn't have the basics to serve customers, such as hot or cold drinking water. The standing bath is so small. Towels are so drought like paper. Ridiculously charged to check in after 6pm. I won't come back.

Excellent accueil, chambre très agréable, propreté impeccable, salle de bain nettoyée chaque jour et serviettes changées chaque jour. Situation idéale. A l'arrêt du bus 10 minutes du Vatican et a côté d'un parking pour ma voiture de location. Juste un petit effort à faire pour le lieu du petit déjeuner. Il pourrait y avoir un chauffe eau plus facile et un moyen de faire du café, même s'il y a un très bon bar à côté de la maison. Je reviendrai.

Unser zummer war nicht annähernd so wie auf den Bildern. Es roch nach Urin, Bad war schimmelig umd unser Bett war in der Mitte gebrochen. Kein Frühstück... zum Glück bei der Hygiene. Was positiv ist, ist es sehr zentral liegt. Fazit, nie wieder

Nice and friendly

It was a proper accomodation near to the Western wall of the Vatican, with a public parking space for free at the front of the door and a bus stop directly besides. There's a good cafeteria a few meters away and a grocery store; furthermore a good-quality Italian restaurant at quite low prices. The only thing which is to critizise: When you arrive after the reception hours, you have to pay a fine of 50 € for getting the keys out of a key-box. This should have been clearly stated in the hotel description BEFORE booking the hotel, as it can have a huge impact into the total travel expenses when someone isn't aware about. Furthermore, you can pay tourist tax and this fine only cash and not by card.

In a nutshell, you get what you paid for. Considering the price, I have no bad comments towards the facility(everything is old, but you’re not paying 500USD for a fancy hotel, you have no say) However, service wise, I would. We were asked to pay 24euros as city tax for 2nights total for 2ppl and because they didn’t have a change, we gave 25euros. They told us they will return the 1euro, but they never did, even after reminding them the next morning. Unlike other private owned accommodations lately, this accommodation asks for manual check in, which made us to change plans. Again, compared to other hotels, it’s really low cost so you can’t ask much, but if we are coming back to Rome, we will find other places. If you are on a tight budget, its cleanliness has no problem, so do so.(no breakfast service is offered as of fall, 2024)

De accomodatie zelf was een beetje teleurstellend. Het bed had een nep bedframe en de kamer was niet mooi. De badkamer was redelijk schoon op de schimmel na. De douche werkte maar viel bijna uit elkaar, bovendien was het een hele kleine ruimte waar je jezelf nauwelijks kon wassen. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De locatie is perfect, dicht bij het vaticaan en recht voor de bushalte. Alles in Rome is makkelijk te bereiken vanaf hier. Gratis de auto parkeren is ook een groot pluspunt.
