Quality Stay
Edgecliff Lodge Motel is my place to stay when coming to Sydney for scuba diving as it is easy to get to and is centrally located to the scuba diving services of Sydney

Friendly reception staff. Gave us early check in and allowed car to stay in parking area till the afternoon after checking out. The room was clean. The well stocked kitchenette (with crockery and cutlery) was handy as was the "breakfast box" supplied. Some wine glasses would have been handy. Only drawback was the double bed - a queen bed would have been more comfortable.

Cheap but adequate
It was a small but adequate hotel room. The furniture was very dated, the room smelt very musty, the curtains didn’t keep out the light from the hallway outside but it was good value and provided a breakfast box of cereal, fruit and juice and it was a clean room and bathroom. There were no car parks available by the time we arrived so be aware that though it says free parking it is very limited. If you want a cheap place to stay close to the CBD this is it if you’re not too fussy.

Reception staff were helpful and understanding! Cannot really complain given the great price for the location, but there are a couple of shortcomings. We were part of a party who booked several rooms simultaneously, and some of these were in good condition (new renovated?) whilst others were in strong need of renovation... lots of traffic noise and poor WiFi. Beds are quite OK!

This property is on a busy road, but my room was quiet. It is less than 10 mins to the train station and there are buses on this road as well. Low fuss check in and check out. I had work in the city, which was easy to access using the train
