Right on the beach off highway 6 and around the bend from the Pancake Rocks and Cave attractions. Room was clean and had bed and separate sitting area. Wi-Fi for us was spotty at times. Nearest restaurant down the road about 400 m where you also check-in. We thought room was fine for a night’s stay.

It’s in a beach facing site but don’t expect to see the sea from the cabin. They are set in a pretty, leafy garden. Lovely and quiet. I think a coffee machine promised but cafetière & sachet of coffee very welcome. The most important thing is that the cabins & most accommodation is downhill by the sea and quite a walk from the spectacular blowholes, rocks and visitor centre which are together at the top of the hill in a different location.

Hope the chef isn't too busy.

This is a great location, set back from the beachfront wall. The property was adequate but a little tired. The bed looked a bit lumpy but we actually slept well. Biggest disappointment was the chef at the linked restaurant/bar being unable to cook for us because she had a booking for 14 due in half an hour and they took priority. We felt it was badly handled and they could have offered for us to come back later. We would have happily sat with a drink and waited. Bar staff were unresponsive to the situation. There was nowhere else to go so we had to cobble something together ourselves. It was a bit of a let down.

We arrived 1 hour prior to check in time and unfortunately the unit wasn’t ready. The lady doing the check in was really nice unfortunately one of the helpers (waitress I guess) was borderline rude. The area is gorgeous but unfortunately for us it rained really heavy. The units are named “beachfront” but no unit can see the beach as all the units are behind a tall sea wall. The minuses are as follow:- the shower wasn’t functional, it has some sort of heating device which was delivering either steaming hot water (for short times) or ice cold -the internet did work AT ALL.

Walkable to the cavern, blowholes and pancake rock. Great location by the beach. Take a bottle of wine and sit on the picnic tables overlooking the ocean for sunset. Magical. Only negative is that there isn’t anything much within 30 miles, but the restaurant next door is great, and they sell wine by the bottle to take away. 🙂
