Warsaw Old Town

Room was cery clean. Front desk people were friendly. We used them for directions and taxi a couple of times and they were very accommodating. From hotel to train station is between 30-40 pln- just fyi. Bolt is between 18-24. Cars are nit allowed in old town so you need to find a spot they can get to you. Yes the elevator is slow and first day we earned some points but then we got better. Ride the elevator and you will know what i mean!

The hotel was ok. Really good location right in the center of the old town. Walkable distance to plenty dining options. Close to many tourist attractions. The room was ok, but it needs a bit of renovation, especially bathroom - that is why my rating is below 5 stars. I recommend this hotel for a short stay.

The location is excellent, right at the center of the old town area, making it convenient to walk around easily. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. I loved the view from the window, including the pillows provided to sit and relax. I was disappointed by the lack of breakfast, especially as it states free breakfast included, even when you search the hotel information on google. I also did not care for opening my room door only to see a drying rack with men’s underwear only a few centimeters away from my door.

Amazing place , really really nice area, atmosphere is wonderful, ll be staying there next time. - one of the ladies on a reception doesn’t speak English at all, had to book the next night online. I think the receptionist has to know at least basic English.

It's a traditional accommodation with olden days elevator which requires one to press and hold the lift for it to move up and down. The room requires a traditional key w key hole to open, not a card. Room toilet has a funny sort of stale smell. Room is not ventilated, will need to open window. Overall an ok accomodation if you want to a go back in time sort of experience. Location is very convenient, right smack inside the city centre.

The location in Old Town was very convenient. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. However, the amenities were scanty. Instant coffee or tea in hallway, no milk. Room was not cleaned overnight. The room faced east which means that in early June the sun shone in my face at four in the morning! The curtains were not sufficiently thick to block out the sun.

The location is perfect - next to the Old Town and 25 minutes on foot from the Central Train station. Very close to many tourist attractions. Multiple dinning options around. The facility itself is unique. It is not a hotel but not an Airbnb either (there is a reception). It’s like you would rent a room in a house. The room itself was clean. Bathroom a bit dated but ok. Hot water, towels, basic toiletries included. On the down side, which was not a problem for me, but might be for others, is that rooms are on the 3rd floor and the elevator is super slow. I was using stairs as it was quicker for me 😄 I recommend this place for a stay up to one week. It was affordable comparing to other option in this area.

Charming stay in the old town

Excellent location at the heart of the old town overlooking the plaza. It's a historic building so it has a lot of character. The elevator is the slowest I've ever used; it tests your patience but that's part of the experience. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

This is not a hotel! That said, it is not without charm. And the location right in the middle is perfect. But if you expect a traditional hotel, you should go somewhere else! As I understood it, it is the national litterature association who owns the building and offers rooms for rent! The style seems not to have been updated for some decades, but my room was nice, quite big, and with a view to the square below. The slow elevator is fantastic!

A unique property overlooking the old town square. Very convenient. One VERY SLOW lift to get your luggage to your floor. But hey, it worked. They no longer offer breakfast, but there are plenty if options close to the hotel. Finding the entrance on the say of my arrival was my biggest challenge! I stayed 3 nights and probably wouldn't stay longer than that. The square cn get very noisy at night, especially with motorbikes, so maybe take ear plugs.

The property was excellent for walking around Old Town Warsaw. Step outside the from door and you are in the square by royal castle. Explore old town or walk to the river for a leisurely stroll. Many restaurants and bakeries to choose from. Excellent choice for a stay.

Great location; great views over the square from room. Recommend taking bus from/to airport. Closest bus stop drop off is PL. Zamkowy 01. Short walk from hotel. From hotel Exit right and walk straight, cross over 1st street you meet and keep straight. Will see bus step. You want 175. From airport walk to bus stop exit head left. Get off Zamkoway stop. Exit bus head right. Will end up in square by royal palce. 4 zloty versus 60zloty for taxi. Also, taxi driver tried to charge me 100 zloty for trip from airport. Is 10 zloty/ person plus 5zloty per km. 10km trip

A great location, right in the middle of Warsaw’s beautiful Old Town and directly opposite the castle, but the accommodation was disappointing for the price - shabby furniture, a flimsy wardrobe with only five hangers ( really? for a double room?) not even a kettle (there is a communal hot water dispenser on the corridor, but it only gives luke-warm water - I had to go out onto the corridor in my pyjamas to get water for early morning tea! We have stayed many times in Warsaw, it’s a favourite place for us, but for the price you can get much better accommodation in just as good a location elsewhere nearby.
