Jazz Festival Stay 2025

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our issues were with the dampness of our room (we were on the first floor), the television service was horrible, and the Comp Breakfast could use a lot of work. This was our 4th trip to NOLA in 3 years. What we like must was the location of the hotel. Multiple places to eat and shop, and bus service to the Jazz Festival. We understand that the hotel was updating, and that might have lead to some of the issues. We are still on the fence about staying there next year.

Will never stay here again

That place shouldn't have been listed on any site! It's in an unsafe area, check in area had this awful odor--it was all I could do to keep from gagging and vomiting. There's a sign that reads"Guest Parking, Park at your own risk". The room was somewhat ckean, but I still didn't want to touch anything before wiping it down. When I showered, I had to stand in a half inch of water since ot didnt drain while the wayer was running. The towels had been laundered, but they still contained stains--blood or makeup. One of them looked like it had been used to was a car. The fire alarm went off twice in the wee hours. The manager on duty couldn't figure out why the source was a vacant room.

Ok-ish

We were looking for a resonably priced place to spend the night in New Orleans. This hotel was close to the attraction we wanted to visit. It was fairly clean but run down. Breakfast was provided but the options were waffles or cereal and the milk was spoiled so we ended up eating elsewhere.

Not the best one night stay.

The hotel is an old renovated building that is in need of updates and more renovations. The ceiling tile had plenty of brown spots for leaks in the roof. Right outside my room door, there was dirty mob bucket w/ dirty water that really stuck! The building felt like a sunna. They did offer complimentary breakfast( the only good thing).

Not too picturesque, But clean & quiet

Nice & Quiet with a Staff that is engaged. The room was well lit and spacious. Clean bed and bathroom. This was my second time in this facility. And I'm pretty sure that we'll stay here again. Conveniently located near to the Interstate, restaurants, retailers, etc. The breakfast was basic but better than most than I've experienced recently. I recommend this hotel.

Absolutely DISGUSTING

This place is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! I even tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but the lady behind the desk in the morning had such a nonchalant, nasty attitude, I was like yeahhh naw! Got to this place super late because my flight was extremely delayed. I arrived at almost 2am. It was already some sketchy stuff going on outside and in the hallways but I just went to my room. As I’m standing in the room I’m already noticing that the floorboards they put down are coming up. The tv barely works - it turns on but is super glitchy…. Every few seconds it’s glitching and buffering. I sit my things down to start grabbing clothes out of my luggage and there is A ROACH, calmly walking to the bed. Normally the lights or noise make them run - not this one. It kept calmly walking and proceeded to CRAWL UP THE BED! I almost SCREAMED!!!! I grabbed my things and went to the front desk and told them about what happened. I got moved to another room on the opposite end of the hall. At this point, it’s about 3am. This room was much nicer in appearance. I turned on all the lights and checked around. I didn’t see any activity but did notice random a few substances and debris by the back of the bed and behind it. Whatever - I just wanted to sleep. I laid down in ALL OF MY CLOTHES. I woke up around 730/8 to use the bathroom and immediately stopped because there was a HUGE ROACH ON THE FLOOR taking A NAP!!! I started packing my stuff to leave bc what the heck?!?

Good stay

Stay was great! I was initially on the fence about booking this room but over all it was a great stay. Bed was new and comfy. Sheets and room was clean. I had two fridges in my room which was nice! View of the parking lot and my vehicle. Night time attendant was nice and friendly. Daytime lady was not.

Mardi Gras weekend. We were travelling out of New Orleans so we were victim of timing. Downtown and nicer places were booked or nearly a grand for the night. We got what we could get. It's was old and run down. Bedroom was big and spacious. Looks like they're trying to upgrade things but a lot of work needs to be done.

I chose this hotel for its convenient parking while attending the Taylor Swift concert, but the experience was beyond ridiculous. When I tried to check in, the front desk handed me a room key—only for me to open the door and find that the room was already occupied by two other travelers. My friend and I were completely shocked. We immediately went back to the front desk, only to be told that the standard room with two beds, which I had confirmed, was no longer available—the only option left was a Queen-size bed. This was completely unacceptable, as my friend (a female companion) and I are just friends. To make matters worse, the room had an unpleasant smell, adding to the overall nightmare of this stay. There was no explanation, no apology, and certainly no compensation for this absolute mess. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Unbelievable.
