This place is great when you are looking for a budget apartment in a quiet area for a good nights sleep, but otherwise planning to move around the island with a car. The place has a lot of stairs so not ideal for people with movement difficulties. The apartments are quiet and cool thanks to air conditioning. Beds are premium offer good sleep. Huge balconies with beautiful views. Wifi was also better than any other place on the island. Kitchenettes are also well equipped (you even get a toaster, which is really unnecessary), the bathroom less so. The place also offers a cozy swimming pool with views at the salt lake. Usually nobody here so good to relax and enjoy the sunshine.
As for the negatives:
We lacked a hairdryer and we did not get one even on request. So be prepared to bring your own. There is really nothing in the area within walking distance apart from a posh restaurant. The beach and the supermarket are NOT walking distance, unless you don't mind walking 20+ mins among cars with no sidewalks. You need to have a car, bike or some sort of way to move around from here, but can otherwise be a good base. Room service is every 4 (!) days which we found too rare. Room service every 2 days or so would have made it much more comfortable. Mosquitoes also show up around dawn and dusk so be prepared for those too.
