I would recommend you to round up your Bali trip with this hotel, to have a few days escape from the busy Bali city life.
Tejakula is a place unspoiled by tourism in Bali relatively, you would be greeted by the curious but friendly villagers when you walk out from the hotel. No one here in Tejakula greeted you with purpose at least.
There is zero light pollution in Tejakula. Me and my husband were lucky enough to have clear sky at night during our stay, we saw shooting stars almost every ten minutes and a very obvious milky way too. So make sure you have appropriate star-gazing apps downloaded before checking in Villa Tejakula.
The villa owners Wayan and her husband Budi greet the guests every morning during breakfast time and make sure that all is well with the guests. I appreciate their effort and kindness very much.
Besides, you can book a massage and they can also arrange yoga class for guests. You may take 10 to 15 minutes walk to some local shops for grocery (do not expect supermarket), or enjoy some real cheap local food from the food stalls along the road (we had Mie Ayam at less thanUSD1)
There are a few minor things that I wish the villa can improve. First they may consider to install a telephone inside the room, so the guests can request something from their room. Secondly their wifi service need serious improvement.
Other than that, nothing to complaint about and I enjoyed my stay a lot.
