I loved the boutique, apartment-like setting, it was like I was an actual citizen of Rome. Steps away from shopping district and other popular destinations. Stephano was sweet and so welcoming. Air Conditioner was a plus. Tips: 1. Pay for the triple room, plenty of room for 2-3 people and access to a small kitchen with dishes. 2. Bring shower shoes or flip flops, shower is very slippery. 3. Bring toiletries and your own small washcloths, not really used in general there. 4. Practice with your keys. Many keys made us feel safe, the color coding helped. 5. Spotty Wi-Fi. Make sure to download some media for when the Wi-Fi may go off.

This place is the place to stay in Roma if you want a more quiet and non-touristy experience. It is in the Prati District right behind Castel Sant'Angelo (formerly Hadrian's Mausoleum) and next to Vatican City. It is a short walk to 'Central Rome' just across the Tiber and the accommodations are OUTSTANDING. Stefano is the most gracious host and I cannot recommend his place enough. Rome is one of the best cities in the world and I definitely believe Cassiodoro19 is the best place to stay in the city.
