Fort Madison is an interesting community on the Mississippi. Jason was super friendly upon check-in. I loved watching and listening to the trains! Check out the Bent Oak Bookstore just a block away! Fabulous indie bookstore.

The inn was very pretty and the room was beautiful. The only complaint would be that the bed was noisy and uncomfortable. It seemed smaller than a queen. Also, we needed more pillows than two for two people.
