This lovely resort was amazing! Everyone is so kind and the area is gorgeous. We were here for our daughter’s wedding. Caroly was our wedding planner and we could not be happier! The grounds are gorgeous, including all the landscaping and the pools. The restaurants are excellent, although the desserts could use some work. The staff is friendly and helpful, but sometimes it felt like they were just a bit understaffed. The rooms are very comfortable, including the beds. The only real complaint is that my booking included a "$100 spa credit," except it only applies under certain conditions, so it was really frustrating that they wouldn't actually honor it even though we spent $200 at the spa.

I didn’t want to leave…. Just perfect vacation, great amenities best customer service of the whole staff (special mention of Felipe in the beach bar area and Kendall and Roger in the preferred area pool, they really take care of you always with a great attitude and smile. We will definitely come back. Jobo beach great. Also very clean, great food. Just an hour from Liberia airport. Thank Drems Las Marea, you made a great vacation experience for us.

The room was beautiful and had a nice tub on the balcony. There were monkeys everywhere which was awesome! The air conditioning in our room stopped working twice but they were very quick to come and fix it. The service and bartenders were great! We loved the food and the resteraunts. A wide variety to choose from- Italian, Mexican, French, Buffet, Japanese/Hibachi, Seafood, etc. We would definitely come back!

We had an unexpected problem on our first day but the staff responded immediately to solve the issue and they made sure our stay was not disrupted or affected. The resort fell short of our expectations for an all-inclusive luxury experience. The security check was informal, with no welcome or directions. No valet parking or proper luggage handling was offered, and luggage was left unsecured in a shared room. At check-in, we learned our room wouldn’t be ready until 3 p.m., which was fine. However, walking around the facilities, a staff member rudely informed us we couldn’t use the pool beds or premium drinks because we weren’t Preferred Club members—making the “all-inclusive” feel misleading. The front desk had also mishandled our reservation, confusing it with another guest’s. We reluctantly paid $315 for a Preferred Club upgrade due to my wife’s birthday, but the benefits were poorly explained. The room was spacious and clean, but we found a cockroach and had to call maintenance to fix the Jacuzzi. The facilities appear outdated, which doesn’t align with luxury standards. Among the restaurants, Portofino was the best, while the Mexican was the worst—serving Tacos al Pastor with uncooked tortillas. Broken furniture and unclear policies about bookings and dress codes added to the frustration (this was for other hosts; we read it on the app). Room service and the app were excellent, but the staff’s unhappiness was evident. One employee shared that they only see their child once a month, which is heartbreaking. Overall, I cannot recommend this resort or consider it for future travel unless significant improvements are made.

Could use improving

The room was so incredibly noisy. Got woken up by 7am every morning. They don’t let you make restaurant reservations. They told me it wouldn’t be a problem but wait could be an hour or they just turn people away for dinner. I called to get a golf cart to lobby this morning to catch our flight and no bellman ever showed to help so I had to run with bags and kids to lobby so we could get our ride and not miss flight. I honestly expected a lot more from 4 star resort

My visit with Las Dreams was my honeymoon with my wife. While we had a great time, I know we would’ve had a great time just about anywhere for our honeymoon. I am slightly disappointed in our visit overall. I went to Las Dreams about 4 years ago, loved it, and that’s why I chose it as our destination. However, it seems the quality of the resort has went down. For starters, we had to call on more than one occasion to get our room cleaned. We were gone from 9 am - 4pm every day, do not disturb off. But unless I put cash on the bed, they would not touch our room. Every day I didn’t leave a tip, they would not clean our room, and we had to call. Lunches were atrocious, it didn’t matter how much alcohol we consumed, the food was not edible. Unless you went to the seaside grill, which was good. The walk up grills were absolutely disgusting, bones left in our chicken quesadillas, ice cold hotdog with soggy bun, hamburger that was sitting in a grease bucket, pulled out and thrown on the grill. I tried the burger anyway, absolutely horrid. Some of the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life. The dinner at the resort is what saved the experience, each restaurant was not only finally edible, but it was fantastic, we were not disappointed with any dinner we received. One more thing that disappointed us was the upgrade to Preferred Status. Complete Scam. Only real perk is sit down breakfast, the preferred pool was packed each day, not regulated whatsoever. Great trip, negative experiences.
