Beautiful view! Private Fale! Really good food!

We loved staying in our own little fale! It was comfortable and private! The views at the beach across the street were so stunning! They have a walk out pier with the perfect view! It’s a relaxing environment and everyone is so friendly and kind! You can swim at the pool or the beach! We’ll definitely stay here the next time we come to Savaii! We ate dinner there once and it was our favorite meal in the week we were in Samoa.

A lovely place to stay with friendly staff, spacious rooms, outdoor shower, quiet and relaxing. We did a full day and half day tour which showed us all the sights of Savaii. We enjoyed kayaking, snorkelling and during our stay we were treated to some great entertainment.

While the property itself is beautiful, with a large open dining area, lovely sized pool, older style but well maintained studio villas and across the road a safe swimming lagoon area, relaxing day beds and an amazing area that protrudes up high into the water, where you had have drinks and food delivered, it is the staff at Amoa that are truly fantastic. They are professional, friendly, attentive and a pleasure to engage with. Thankk you for a wonderful overnight stay, next time we will stay longer.

Il y a mieux et moins cher plus loin (« SLB »)

Réservation facile (pour l’argent) mais check-in et presque toute l'expérience dans l'hôtel est décevante. Pas de boisson de bienvenue, caution de 300 wst en espèces pour compenser le fait que leur terminal CB ne soit pas efficace (donc frais de retrait et de change après pour rien pour le client). Bonne chambre, mais ménage aléatoire et variable, coffre-fort hors service, très peu d'eau chaude... Restaurant pas essayé au vu du petit déjeuner : le moins bon et le plus pauvre de notre voyage à Samoa. Beau jardin mais sale (capsules, mégots de cigarettes, de plastique... devant notre chambre / voir photo) La piscine n'est pas assez propre, la musique est trop forte, pas assez de chaises longues à la mer, et pas assez de serviettes pour la salle de bain et pour la mer (attente 1h mini) malgré des demandes multiples et répétées ! Absolument aucune réaction !!! Si possible, j'aimerais revenir à Savaii, mais pas dans cet hôtel très décevant (trop cher pour cette mauvaise qualité de service). A améliorer : le service, le sens commercial et la gestion. Le client n'est pas seulement un distributeur de billets ! Chaque problème a eu un retour sur place à de nombreux membres de l’équipe pendant notre séjour, mais absolument aucune réaction de qui que ce soit, ni du management ni de la direction. Inutile de demander un avis avec QR Code dans la chambre non plus ça ne sert à rien. Pour être sûr, j'ai échangé avec d'autres clients de l’hôtel qui ont malheureusement la même opinion !

The facilities may be on the basic side at Amoa but the people abd service more than compensate for all of that. We had the most lovely relaxing stay here. The swimming out the front is superb and the water the most stunning I've seen. Your stay is made so personal, it's much nicer than a large hotel where you are just a number. Would recommend it for anyone wanting an authentic Samoan stay. Talofa Amoa.

For a hotel in this price range, having no Internet in the guest rooms is inexcusable. Also, there are steps within some of the guest rooms, which may be difficult for some guests. The restaurant is very good, but the breakfast buffet is mediocre. Bear in mind, the property straddles, a main road. The guest rooms, restaurant, and swimming pool are on one side, and the ocean is on the other. There is no beach, no sand, just lots of rocks, so the water is inaccessible. Nonetheless, this is undoubtedly the best accommodation on the island, even though some other hotels have sandy beaches.

Beautiful and peaceful

The hotel, the grounds and the pool are wonderful. The hotel isn't on the beach but it has it's own private lagoon with a small sea wall on the other side of the road and the kayaks there are free to use. The staff are super friendly and we had an amazing two days where we visited the lava fields and blow holes.

We loved our stay at Amoa Resort! The staff were warm and accommodating, and they always had a table ready for our large group at breakfast and dinner. Seafood/Fish served at dinner was really good and fresh. The rooms were clean, and we enjoyed the outdoor showers after a day of exploring. A highlight was the lei-making activity—staff even went out of their way to gather flowers so our nieces could join in. The only small downside was the WiFi, which only worked well in the lobby and public areas. Otherwise, everything was fantastic—we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!
